This is with reference to your email enquiry, dated 7th July 2009 regarding the PLAXIS
software, we are pleased to introduce the PLAXIS 2D & PLAXIS 3D program.

PLAXIS is a finite element software specifically intended for the analysis of deformation and
stability in geotechnical engineering projects. Geotechnical applications require advanced
constitutive models for the simulation of the non-linear and time-dependent behavior of soils.
PLAXIS is equipped with special features to deal with the numerous aspects of complex
geotechnical structures.

PLAXIS 2D Suite: PLAXIS 2D suite includes all the 2D module of PLAXIS family.

• Professional Version - The Professional Version includes static elasto-plastic

deformation, advanced soil models, consolidation, updated mesh and steady state
groundwater flow.
• Dynamics Module - The PLAXIS Dynamics module one can analyze the effects of
vibrations in the soil.
• PlaxFlow - PlaxFlow is a finite element package that can be used to analyze two-
dimensional unsaturated and time-dependent groundwater flow. This offers the
possibility to take into account the influence of flow on soil deformation and stability.
• UDSM – User defined Soil Model

Taxes The above price is excluding all local & central taxes. The purchaser has to bear
what ever taxes those are applicable as per government rules and regulations, which
may vary from time to time. The CST/VAT is 4%.
Delivery Delivery will be made with in four weeks from the date of receipt of purchase
Order.
Payment 100% advance payment along with the purchase order. Product will be delivered
only after receipt of the payment. Payment can be made through DD in favour of
RAM Caddsys Pvt. Ltd payable at Chennai.
Validity The above price is valid for 2 weeks from the date of this quote.
Training Installation & onsite Training Charges for two days will be Rs. 25,000. For
additional day of training, the charges will be Rs. 15,000.

However, we will consider you as a very special case, and will provide 2 days
free training at our Chennai office.

Payment for the training (Incase the training is outside Chennai) shall be paid
in advance before the commencement of the training. The facilities for the
training shall be provided by the customer.
