TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR FRANCHISE:

PRIMARY CONDITON ( Minimum Eligibility Criteria No. 1)


The applicant should have prior working/business experience, preferably in any service or housekeeping industry and should
have iking for general hygiene and cleanliness. Most importantly, he should be willing to work hard under our guidance and
directions and should be able to commit full-time personal efforts and attention for the development of this business.
ESSENTIAL INFRA-STRUCTURE REQUIREMENT ( Minimum Eligibility Criteria No. 2)
The applicant should have a minimum of about 100 to 150 sq.ft. of office/storage space with atleast one telephone and
arrangement of one administrative person. He should compulsorily have a computerised system for data processing and
communication with an internet connection and modem facilities to maintain records and transfer/receive data. The space
should be in an easily accessible area of the city, not necessarily in a commercial or up-market area. The applicant should have
atleast two person in his set up, one, to be technically trained for marketing and the other for supervision of cleaning
operations and servicing of the specialised cleaning equipment’s and two more persons for cleaning operations.
FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT ( Minimum Eligibility Criteria No. 3)
The applicant should have a capacity to invest a sum of about Rupees Three Lacs in a phased manner as shown in the financial
outlay, either through his own resources or be eligible to get a loan from any financial institution, and should also have a
capacity to invest further in additional sets of equipments and/or for Advertisements and promotional activities in his area, as
per requirements of the business, from time to time.
PAYMENT
The total investment towards the Franchisee business as per the Class of Franchisee has to be made upfront in advance at the
time of booking to unable us to completely close the franchisee area and start immediate operations. However the Minimum
Non-refundable Booking amount towards Franchisee fee depending on the area classification (A,B,C) may be accepted at the
sole discretion of TANCLEAN towards confirmation of Booking amount at the time of Booking the franchisee area, this will
unable us to close the particular Franchisee area for allotment to anybody else. In this case, however, under any circumstances,
the Balance amount has to be paid within two (2) weeks from the date of Booking. In case the balance payment is delayed
beyond four (4) weeks from the date of Booking, we strictly reserve the exclusive right to allot the booked franchisee area to
anybody else. In this case, the Booking amount can be adjusted for a different franchisee area remaining at that time. Decision
regarding allotment of the alternate franchisee area after the committed payment period shall be at the sole discretion of the
TANCLEAN only.
IMPORTANT PAYMENT CONDITION OF FRANCHISEE BOOKING
The minimum booking amount i.e. Franchisee fee is non-refundable under any circumstances in case of cancellation of
the franchisee booking for any region what-so-ever. Any amounts received for the particular franchisee area over and
above the Minimum Franchisee Booking amount, if any, will be refunded only after that particular area is allotted to
another franchisee and full payment towards the area is received by us from the new franchisee.
DELIVERY
The minimum period of despatch of initial equipment’s from the office will be eight weeks from the date of receipt of 50 %
advance payment and/or within one week of receipt of full payment. All future anti-bacterial agents, spares and accessories
would be despatched within seven days from the date of receiving confirmed order with full payment. All prices are Ex-office,
Thane.
WARRANTY
The company shall extend back-to-back warranty of twelve months / Six Months as applicable for the various equipment’s
provided by the manufacturer as per the standard warranty policy of the particular manufacturers. Wear and tear parts are not
covered under the warranty as per the manufacturer’s policy.
TAXES AND DUTIES
Sales and Service Tax, and any other statutory levies as applicable from time-to-time, shall be charged extra over and above
the cost of franchise indicated in the proposal. All such taxes and levies shall be as mentioned in this proposal and shall be
clearly indicated in the Proforma Invoice given to the prospective franchisee on booking of the franchise area.
FREIGHT, INSURANCE AND INCIDENTALS
As all prices are Ex-Thane, outstation despatches would be on a freight to-pay basis. In case of outstation despatches, Packing
shall be charged @ 2% extra on the equipment cost, any other Incidental expenses incurred shall be borne by the franchisee
which shall be indicated in the Proforma Invoice given to the franchisee prior to the despatch. Transit Insurance, in case of
outstation despatches, will have to be arranged, and paid for, by the franchisee.
ADVERTISEMENTS AND PROMOTIONS
All corporate advertisements and promotional activities would be done by the company according to the economics and
policies framed by the company from time-to-time. Under no condition would the company accept any liability of paying any
dues or adjustments towards advertisements and promotional expenses over and above that agreed in the proposal herein. Prior
approval of formats is strictly required for individual advertisements and promotional material released by the franchisees at
their local level.
SALES AND EXECUTION
The sales and promotional activity and the execution of the services in the franchise area, would be done by the franchisee
only. There will be only guidance and directions, of sales and execution management, from the company’s side.
ROYALTY / FRANCHISEE SUPPORT FEES
The company would be entitled to receive a sum of Rs. 2,000/- per month, i.e. Rs. 24,000 + service tax at the time of
agreement sign-up towards Fixed Royalty, for the first year of the franchise agreement. This shall be calculated from the date
of the Franchisee Agreement or Despatch of the Equipments whichever is earlier. Royalty for the Second and Third year of the
agreement will be same i.e. Rs. 2,000/- payable at the time of signup by post dated cheque for a date twelve months from the
date of the agreement, payable towards Royalty for the Second year and another post dated cheque for a date twenty four
months from the date of the agreement, payable towards Royalty for the Third Full Year.
PRICING
All pricing would be maintained as per the company’s existent policy and shall be subject to change without any prior notice.
MARKETING AND TECHNICAL TRAINING
All marketing and technical training and guidance would be provided at the Company’s cost at Thane. Outstation franchisees
will have to send their persons to Thane for Training. Lodging, Boarding, Travelling, Local Conveyance and any other
incidental expense related to the training will have to be borne by the franchisee.
SERVICE BACK-UP
The company maintains a team of service back-up personnel for the total process. The Company will provide two free service
visits to the franchisees within the period of Twelve Months from the date of supply of the equipment’s. Service back-up
required after Twelve Months or over and above the two free services within the first year, will be charged as per the
company’s policy prevailing from time-to-time.
AREA ALLOCATION
The franchise area is given on an exclusive basis to the franchisee and he will have to strictly operate in the area allotted.
ENQUIRIES
Local enquiries will have to be generated by the efforts of franchisee. All direct enquiries received by way of advertisement
and press conferences by the company will be re-routed to the franchisee according to the areas allotted.
GENERAL
TANCLEAN reserves the exclusive right to add, change, modify, cancel or alter any or all the above Terms & Conditions
without any prior notice or information. Subject to the Thane Jurisdiction only.
