Authentic assessments that put the learning into practice. Performance


tasks are great ways for students to learn rather than recall facts. You
should mix different types of assessments to get the whole picture of a
students ability. What other types of assessments could you do?

Respond to 1. You need to create an assignment that is authentic that can


be customized to fit the students interest. By creating options for them to
choose from will help them have more ownership and show more interest.
In turn, they will be more engaged in the projects or assignment.

splitting your class up by doing extensions and re-teaching will give you the
time to meet with the kids then need that additional help.

1. An area of struggle for me is how to engage all students in a project or
assignment. I recognize dieren@a@on is absolutely necessary, I just
need so assistance in making it happen. I guess Im looking for
strategies I can use to be more condent that Im mee@ng all of my
