LOW-VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS

PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 SCOPE
A. Furnish and install dry type isolation transformers of the types, sizes and quantities indicated on
the contract drawins. Pro!ide all lus, accessories and mountin hardware necessary for
proper installation and operation.

seal.

installation. Front and rear co!ers shall .e remo!a.le to pro!ide access to terminal
compartment7s:. %erminals shall .e fully sized to carry the transformer full load current
and shall .e arraned to accept '$ listed ca.le connectors.
". Encapsulated transformers shall ha!e non5!entilated enclosures rated for indoor or
outdoor use in accordance with '$ specifications. /irin compartments shall ha!e
fle9i.le ca.le leads suita.le for connectin field wirin and marCed for easy identification.
Encapsulated desin enclosures shall include CnocCouts into wirin compartment and
wall mountin .racCets.
