reading no&4 As our &orld becomes increasingly )isual1 graphics are impacting ho& in*ormation
is deli)ered. (his course pro)ides e$periences *or students to use image1 type1 color1 illustration1
and photography to create dynamic media using Adobe Creati)e Suite. Students &ill *ocus on the
computer skills1 design process1 and aesthetic decisions needed to create print and digital media
that e**ecti)ely communication messages and in*ormation.

Classroom Procedures

7ach student in the arts &ill accomplish a set o* benchmarks in a cyclical manner o* learning

Supplies
Students &ill need a *lash or thumb dri)e that &ill hold ;%:?1#%: or 52%:. Students &ill ha)e room
on the desktop in the lab but they &ill need to back up their &ork. 2 &ill pro)ide a >ournal &ith graph
paper.

(he Skyline Eriting Center o**ers *ree &riting support to all currently enrolled Skyline students. Eriting
Center tutors are highly trained >uniors and seniors that ha)e been identi*ied as ha)ing e$cellent &riting
skills and teaching ability. (he Eriting Center is open e)ery hour o* e)ery day that school is in session.
Eriting Center tutors can assist students at any academic le)el and at any stage in the &riting process
*rom initial brainstorming to *inal re)isions. Students may use the Eriting Center3s ser)ices *or &riting
assignments in any course +e$cept *or &orld language courses.. Students may also use the Eriting
Center *or creati)e &riting1 college essays1 AC( &riting preparation1 and more.
Students can )isit a tutor in person in room :!2 on a &alk"in or appointment basis. Appointments can
be made &ith speci*ic tutors at speci*ic times by using the Eriting Center &ebsite. 2n"person sessions
typically last 15"2' minutes. Students can also submit their &ork through the Eriting Center3s &ebsite
*or online tutoring in the Fnline Eriting 6ab +FE6.. Eriting is returned in !;"92 hours &ith
suggestions and an in)itation to )isit the Eriting Center *or a *ollo&"up appointment.
