1. Here we want to test the Null Hypothesis that the no.

a. 8 cells (66.7%) have expected count less than 5. The minimum
expected count is .12.

Result of Null hypothesis:
From the Chi-Square analysis we tested the above hypothesis. The obtained Chi-Square
statistics value is 92.408 and correspondent to it P value is .000 which is less than 0.05(level of
significance) So the Null hypothesis can be Rejected and we can conclude that the no. Of
employess depends upon the store size. From the above table we can conclude that 78.6% of
outlets are having only 1 employees with lowest store size i.e 8*10 sq. Ft. Where as 86.0% of
outlets are having 2 employees with store size of 10*12 sq. Ft. While 3 employees are found
in 75.0% retails with highest store size i.e more than 14*16 sq. Ft. And above.

2. Here we want to test the Null Hypothesis that the better packaging of
dettol does not depends upon the sales of dettol liquid.

From the above table we conclude that the sales of dettol in the category of 50-100 unit sold
per week is higest with 56.2 % while 60.5% respondent have said lifebuoy has better
packaging as compared to dettol.

Result of Null hypothesis:
From the Chi-Square analysis we tested the above hypothesis. The obtained Chi-Square
statistics value is 1.332 and correspondent to it P value is .514 which is greater than
0.05(level of significance) So, we are fail to reject the Null hypothesis and can be conclude
that the better packaging of dettol does depends upon the sales of dettol liquid.
