Admit Card for the above examination is being enclosed which bears Post applied for, Subject, Candidate's Roll
Number, Category, Name 8 Address, Date of Birth, Photograph 8 Signature, Date of Examination and Address of
Examination Centre. !n addition, !mportant !nstructionsf!nformation to candidate have also been provided.
The Admit Card for the written examination is being issued for the post of PGT English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry,
Economics, Commerce, Naths, Biology, History, Geography, Computer Science and Bio-Tech (Post Code 11 to 22);
TGTfNTP English, Hindi, Social Studies, Science, Sanskrit, Naths, Librarian, Art Education, Work Experience and
Physical 8 Health Education (Post Code 31 to 36 and S1 to S+) and PRTfNusic (Post Code +1 8 SS) for the
Recruitment Year 2011-2012.
The details printed on the admit card must be checked carefully by the candidate. !n case your admit card
mentions some other PostfSubject then you are advised to personally report at `Facilitation Counter' located in
the city of the centre, one day before the schedule date of examination, from 10.00 A.N. to 3.00 P.N. with two
Passport size photographs and along with documentary evidencefproof so that necessary corrections are made
and fresh admit card is issued accordingly. The address of `Facilitation Counter' will be displayed at K.v.S. website
www.kvsangathan.nic.in. !n case you do not approach `Facilitation Counter' for incorporation of corrections in
PostfSubject as printed on the admit card one day before the conduct of examination, then KvS will not be held
responsible for making necessary corrections at later stage.
!n case your Admit-Card is without photographfhaving the photograph of some other candidate, paste copy of
your photograph in the space on Admit Card and bring another photograph at the time of examination and hand
over the same to Room !nvigilator on the day of examination itself. Similarly, in those Admit Cards where scanned
signature is not available below the photograph, or Category, Date of Birth or Name is not correct on the Admit
Card, an application may be handed over on the day of examination at the Centre itself, so the necessary
corrections are made before preparation of result.
This Admit Card is non-transferrable. No request for change of Examination Centre will be entertained under any
circumstances.
Candidate is allowed to keep the Admit Card with himfher for record purposes. Please retain this Admit Card with
you since it may be required to be produced at the time of main examinationfinterview, if the candidate
shortlisted for the same.
The Admit Card being issued to you is purely on 'Provisional' basis subject to meeting all the eligibility criteria of
selection as laid down by Kendriya vidyalaya Sangathan. Onus of proving the eligibility lies with the candidate.
!n case, at any stage and even after the selection, if it is found that you are not fulfilling the essential eligibility
criteria, your candidature will be cancelled without assigning any reason or notice. !t is, therefore, advised that
details of Examination, Eligibility Criteria, etc. may please be read carefully by the candidate before appearing in
the examination and to avoid disappointment at later stage. !n this regard, detailed advertisement published in
Employment News dated 30th October - 0Sth November, 2010 and uploaded on KvS website may be referred.

No TAfDA will be paid to candidate for appearing in the Written Examination.
For each question, there will be four alternative answers and you will have to select one alternative as the best
answer. For giving answers, a Computerized O.N.R. Answer Sheet will be provided for marking answer in Black
Ink Ball Point Pen only. Nark your answer in the appropriate circle against the corresponding number to the
question you are answering. Your mark should be dark and completely fill in the circle, as shown in the example
below:
The Paper will contain 1S0 Objective Type Questions with + multiple choice of answers for a duration of 3 hours.
There are 2 parts in this paper i.e. Part-! and Part-!!. Part-I will consist of 110 questions and printed bilingually in
English and Hindi in the disciplines of GK, General Awareness, Current Affairs, General Science 8 !ndian
Constitution (3S), Reasoning (30), Quantitative Aptitude (20) and Teaching Aptitude (2S). Part-II will consist of
+0 questions based on English Language (20) and Hindi Language (20) for evaluation of language competence
which will be of qualifying in nature.

Details of Question Paper for Preliminary Examination
Blind Candidates
Blind Candidate will be provided assistance of a guidefscribe at the Examination Centre who will assist such
candidate at the time of examination. Such facility will be available to only those candidates who have filled up the
'visually Challenged' column in the application. A total extra time of one hour will be given.
9.
!mpersonation is a legally punishable offence. Candidate found impersonating during the course of Examination,
will be handed over to Police for prosecution. Stern legal action shall be taken against the impersonator and the
applicant if found indulged in such type of illegal activity.
Candidate should abide by all the Rules and Regulations of the Examination and maintain proper discipline during
the course of conduct of examination. Paper(s) of those candidates will be cancelled, if found violating the
examination norms or indulged in any type of indiscipline.
Candidate is required to bring and keep with himfher a proof of establishing hisfher identity in the form of either an
Employer's !dentity Card or Driving License or any other such proof that establishes candidate's identity in order to
establish hisfher identity in case of any doubt, during the course of examination. Such proof should be shown by
candidate to the invigilatorfrepresentative of the Examination Authority to their satisfaction.

The provisional candidature for appearing in the examination will not entitle for any claim for the posts(s) even
if you pass through in the examination or calledfappear for the Nain Examinationf!nterview. After re-assessing
the position, if it is felt that you are not fulfilling any of the essential eligibility criteria, due to which your
candidature can be cancelled at any stage of Recruitment 8 Selection, as such it is advisable that you should not
appear for the examination, in case you are not eligible.
