Maintenance instructions
Shut off hot and cold water supply!
Please perform disassembly in specified order.
Thermoelement
1. Unscrew and remove screw, remove cap, unscrew and
remove screw and pull off temperature control handle.
2. Screw off regulating nut, pull off complete stop ring with
mixed water stop.
3. Lever off cover ring.
4. Unscrew and remove all six screws using a 3mm allen
key.
5. Screw three screws into the threaded holes in the flange
on the thermoelement and in this way push the
thermoelement out of the housing.
6. Unscrew the three screws again.
Non-return valve
1. Screw off cap.
2. Unscrew and remove non-return valve with dirt strainer
cartridge using a 10mm allen key.
Assemble in reverse order.
Readjustment is necessary after each maintenance operation on the thermostatic cartridge.
The socket spanner cap must be pressed out of the handle from behind before the handle is installed to permit
readjustment. Remove stop disk.

Temperature adjustment
Open draw-off points and read off temperature of the water
on the thermometer. Turn temperature control handle until
the water temperature has reached 38 C.
- Unscrew and remove screw, remove cap, unscrew and
remove screw and pull off temperature control handle.
- Refit temperature control handle so that the 38 C
marking (?) on the temperature control handle aligns with
the marking on the cover ring.
- Replace screw. Fit cap and replace screw.
Thermal desinfection
1. Unscrew and remove screw, remove cap.
2. Pull out red safety stop to the stop.
3. Turn temperature control handle to the hot water end
stop.
4. Open draw-off points and allow hot water at a minimum
temperature of 70 C to run for three minutes.
5. Turn temperature control handle to the cold water end
stop.
6. Press red safety stop back in.
7. Fit cap and replace screw.
8. Set temperature control handle to the desired mixed
water temperature.
