ABERFELDY

Single Malt Whisky
Pure and Natural

Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a gift from nature. Everything needed to make this superb
whisky is derived from natural elements of barley, yeast and pure water. The purity, proportions and
intrinsic quality of the individual ingredients profoundly influence the characteristics of the final liquid.

Provenance imprints each whisky with influences of the land, micro-climate and ecology. This explains
the unique regional differences in Scottish whiskies - why you discern hints of the sea or nuances of
extra peat smoke in some whiskies but not in others. Provenance makes a major contribution to the
characteristic heather and honey note found in the Aberfeldy single malt. Here at Aberfeldy the
environment is in perfect equilibrium with the pure and abundant natural resources surrounding
Aberfeldy Distillery.

Water is thought to be one of the most important elements in distilling superior quality whiskies, and
Aberfeldy Distillery is "blessed" to have the Pitilie Burn as its water source. Aberfeldy uses only the
finest optic barley, much of which comes from the surrounding Perthshire Highland area. Without
disclosing any brand secrets, similar care is given to our choice of whisky's other ingredient, yeast.

Ultimately, it is the experience and craftsmanship of Dewar's distillers and blenders that transforms the
natural ingredients into fine Single Malt. A perfect balance between man and nature.

Curiosities - Red Squirrel

The Red Squirrel icon which graces the bottle of Aberfeldy Single Highland Malt is deeply significant to
Dewar's. The rare endangered squirrel represents nature in perfect equilibrium--a reminder of the
delicate balance and harmony essential for fine whisky as well as rare Red Squirrels.

Scotland's indigenous Red Squirrels, once plentiful and thriving, are now extremely rare and endangered.
The majority can be found in Scotland, many in Perthshire. A colony of Red Squirrels resides in the
tranquil woodlands bordering Aberfeldy Distillery. Here, deep in the Perthshire Highlands, in the very
heart of Scotland, glens thick with scented pine, spruce and birch, rushing rivers and burns of crystalline
water create the balanced environment necessary for the protection of Red Squirrels and for the
production of rare Aberfeldy malt.

ABSENTE & GRANDE ABSENTE
ABSENTE

This liqueur is prepared from an infusion and essence of absinthe herbs (1,5 %), lemon balm and mint
spirits, cane sugar and alcohol..

* Wormwood
* Mugwort
* Aniseed
* Lemon balm

Wormwood (Artemisia absinthuim), with its fragrant gray leaves, was once used to add flavor to sauces
and to make the famous liqueur known as The Green Fairy. It was banned in 1915 because of the
toxicity caused by the absinthe. However, although only part of the herb was toxic, it was extremely
bitter. At the time, the toxicity was attributed to a substance known as thujone.
During the heady days of late 19th century Paris, Absinthe was the trademark drink of famous artists,
writers and poets like Picasso, Baudelaire, Hemingway, Degas, Manet, Toulouse-Lautrec and Oscar Wilde.
They all heavily indulged in Absinthe. Maybe it was the mystical allure of "The Green Fairy." Perhaps it
was the inspiration for all their great creative work. Whatever the reason, Absinthe truly grew to
become the symbol of the free and easy spirit of the massive bohemian counterculture. Experience
Absente and recall the glitz and glamour of la belle poque, Paris.
Today, Absente, a liqueur made from the absinthe herb, differs from its older sister in one important
way : some active principles in the herbs (thujone, fenchone and pinocamphone) are included today, but
in minute doses, in compliance with regulations.

This liqueur consists of alcohol, sugar, essence and infusion of mugwort, green anise spirit, essence of
star anise (anethole), spirits of lemon balm and mint, and essence of wormwood. The mugwort infusion
(Artemisia vulgaris) gives Absente its structure. The subtle flavors of anise, mint and spices from the
spirits and essences give Absente its balance, finesse, freshness and its surprising ability to linger on the

palate.

Serving suggestions

When drinking Absente, anything goes (well, almost anything) :
- Absente can be poured over shaved ice or ice cubes.
- Those who like strong sensations drink it straight up.
- Those who prefer an unsweetened and bitter taste may simply add cold water to Absente.
- Fans of tradition carefully carry out the time-honored practice of placing a sugar cube on the slotted
absinthe spoon and balancing it over the glass. Then they slowly pour in water. This dissolves the sugar
and the Absente turns an opalescent green.
Absente - Absente may also be flambed.
- Cocktail suggestions: to be selected.

GRANDE ABSENTE

Grande Absente is a bitter liqueur that contains more absinthe and less sugar.
Grande Absente is made from alcohol, sugar, absinthe infusions and essences, mugwort and star anise,
aniseed alcohol, balm and mint.

* Wormwood
* Mugwort
* Aniseed
* Lemon balm

Grande Absente completes the existing Absente and Extrme dAbsente range. The new Grande Absente
formula contains more absinthe plant extracts and is low in sugar, thus providing its special bitter
flavour.
Grande Absente is clear and shiny in appearance, with a striking green colour and yellow undertones.

Grande Absente should be served neat over crushed ice or in cocktails.

BOMBAY SAPPHIRE
WHY IS BOMBAY SAPPHIRE SO SPECIAL?

From the translucent blue glass bottle to the complex yet refined spirit inside, Bombay Sapphire has
changed the way we think about gin.
Crafted from 100% grain spirit infused with the delicate aromas of 10 uniquely combined botanicals,
Bombay Sapphire has a refreshingly light, smooth taste, which is unlike intensely juniper-flavored gins
and makes Bombay Sapphire the spirit of choice for gin and non-gin drinkers.

10 BOTANICALS
No expense is spared in sourcing the finest quality botanicals from around the world including juniper
berries from Italy, coriander from Morocco, almonds and lemon peel from Spain, liquorice from China
and grains of paradise from West Africa. Each botanical is hand selected by our master distiller to
ensure that only the very best ingredients are used to create Bombay Sapphire.

VAPOUR INFUSION
There are only a few Carterhead stills remaining in the world today and four are exclusive to Bombay
Sapphire. Unlike other gins, which boil their botanicals directly in the spirit to achieve their taste, the
Bombay Sapphire spirit is distilled alone. Based on a1761 recipe, Bombay Sapphire is produced by
passing the spirit vapor through the botanicals, which are held separately in a perforated copper basket.
This process, known as vapour infusion, allows the gentle absorption of each of the aromatic flavours
to create the spirits complex yet refined finish.

TASTE THE DIFFERENCE
The mixability of Bombay Sapphire gin in any number of classic and contemporary cocktails is
unrivalled thanks to its perfectly balanced, clean, crisp taste.
The very best Bombay Sapphire cocktail is a matter of personal preference but to experience the
remarkable taste of Bombay Sapphire in its purest form, the classic Bombay Sapphire dry martini
cocktail, allows the spirit to be truly savoured.

CHAMBORD
Chambord is crafted from all-natural ingredients :
- Raspberries and blackberries
- Madagascar vanilla
- Moroccan citrus peel
- Honey
- XO Cognac

- Herbs and other spices

Its vivid, extraordinary flavor can be enjoyed on its own,
or complements other spirits such as tequila, rum,
vodka, whiskey, bourbon, cognac and even wheat or
beers.

How Chambord is crafted?
A unique three-stage process unites these ingredients to create a one-of-a-kind liqueur possessing an
unprecedented level of all-natural complexities, flavor and aromas.

1. Infusing for initial flavor
- The infusion begins with the blending of whole raspberries and blackberries
- Then they are steeped in French spirits for a period of 4 weeks to achieve a rich, silky fruit infusion
- This infusion process produces a distinct natural raspberry flavor and aroma

2. Capturing the remaining flavor
- Once the berries surrender their initial flavor, the infusion is extracted and a second layer of French
spirits is added to the fruit to obtain the final nuances of the whole fruit blend
- This second infusion is allowed to rest for two weeks when the infused spirit is drawn off and their
remaining fruit is delicately pressed to obtain the natural sugars and juice
- The fruit-infused spirits and juices from the final pressing are then combined to yield an incredibly
rich, natural berry infusion
3. Blending
- Blending is performed by the Maitre Liquoriste, a role similar to that of a Master Blender
- The magnificent berry infusion is married with a proprietary blend of cognac and extracts of
Madagascar vanilla and black raspberries, Moroccan citrus peel, honey, and herbs and spices.

FINLANDIA
Created in the late 60's and keeping the distillation traditions of 19th century, Finlandia Vodka has
transformed the production process of alcoholic beverages into real art, carefully fostering each step in
such way that it doesn't interfere with the untouched nature from which Finlandia Vodka was born.

What's truly remarkable about the story of Finlandia Vodka is the production process itself, because the
best vodka in the world can only be born from the purest glacial waters. Waters that do not require
artificial filtering, thanks to the glacial spring from Rajamaki, a true national treasure and to the
caressing rays of the Midnight Sun which year by year, for 73 days straight, make sure that these waters
get the natural treatment that they need.

Under the brightness of the Midnight Sun, nature has given the Finnish people another precious gift: the
six row barley, grinded and specially prepared in a fermented paste. A special barley, that possess small
quantities of oil and offers Finlandia Vodka a special taste and an ideal reason to enjoy Finlandia Vodka's
flavors either simple or in exotic cocktail combinations.

The state of the art technology and the natural ingredients of this special beverage represent the perfect
harmony between modern and traditional, the power of nature and the perseverance of the Finnish
people. With a distillation process that lasts up to 50 hours, any kind of impurity and imperfection is
removed in order to make room for the natural creation, Finlandia Vodka.

Thus, Finlandia Vodka has combined this understanding of nature with all the knowledge of beverages
and has created not only one of the best vodkas in the world, but it has managed to treat the
environment, alongside the entire process, giving it the respect that it deserves.

GENTLEMAN JACK
TWICE THE EFFORT.
ALL THE REWARD.

Jack Daniel believed "Every day we make it, we'll make it the best that we can." For Jack, that meant
mellowing his whiskey drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal.
Seven generations later, we still charcoal mellow our whiskey just as Mr. Jack did. The reason is simple -
it imparts a distinctive smoothness folks have come to expect from Jack Daniel's. Charcoal mellowing is
what makes Jack Daniels what it is a Tennessee Whiskey and not a bourbon. Doing it twice is what
makes Gentleman Jack what it is unlike any whiskey in the world. We think youll agree that the
whiskey emerging from this second trip through the charcoal is one of refined character, worthy of the
name Gentleman.

SMOOTHNESS
YOU CAN TASTE.

Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whiskey has a rich, full flavor with a hint of fruits and spices

Exceptionally Smooth

Just like Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey and Jack Daniels Single Barrel, Gentleman Jack is Charcoal
Mellowed before going into the barrel.

Gentleman Jack, however, receives an additional "blessing" when it is Charcoal Mellowed again after
reaching maturity making it the only whiskey in the world to be Charcoal Mellowed twice, giving it
ultimate smoothness. Gentleman Jack is full-bodied with fruit and spices, and its finish is silky, warm,
and pleasant. When you drink Gentleman Jack, youll always enjoy rich, rewarding taste.

BEFORE MAKING WHISKEY, WE MAKE BARRELS.

It takes a quality barrel to make a quality whiskey, so we start by selecting the best American white oak

for the barrel staves.

Our craftsmen fit the staves together by hand, then carefully toast and char the inside of the barrel to
caramelize the wood's natural sugars. It's from this toasted oak that the whiskey draws its rich amber
color, distinctive flavor and finish. While some are content to store their whiskey in used barrels, we
only entrust our whiskey to new ones. Indeed, the barrels quality is so important to us, that we believe
we are the only distiller that goes the extra mile to craft our own.

WE STILL JUDGE IT BY A SIP.

We all know age isn't the same as maturity. It's true of people and it's true of whiskey.
Mellowing our whiskey through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal, crafting our own barrels, and storing it
on the bottom floors of the barrelhouse - all this contributes to how our whiskey matures. Age, by itself,
isnt a reliable measure of a whiskeys quality and character, which is why our tasters tell us when the
whiskey is ready. We judge its quality the same way you dowith a sip.

GREY GOOSE
Why is Grey Goose the Worlds Best Tasting Vodka?
Grey Goose vodka, the worlds favourite luxury vodka, is created with one goal - to be the world's best
tasting vodka.
Made in Cognac, France, home to the world's most respected experts in spirits making, Grey Goose
vodka benefits from the region's rich history of creating luxury foods, wines and spirits.
The Matre de Chai (cellar master) for Grey Goose vodka ensures that every element of its production is
of the highest quality. He selects 100% of the finest French wheat, the same wheat used to create
delicious French pastries, and employs an exclusive five-step distillation process to concentrate its
exceptional flavour. Pure spring water naturally filtered through Champagne limestone is then blended

HIGHLAND PARK
HIGHLAND PARK SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

Highland Park comes from a land full of mystery and rich in anecdote.
It speaks volumes about Highland Park that a renowned whisky expert once famously wrote if single-
malt Scotch whiskies were movies, Highland Park would be Gone with the Wind.

Voted one of the 20th Centurys best-loved movies, Gone with the Wind continues to delight 60 years
after its release. The same can be said of Highland Park single malt Scotch whisky.

Established in 1798 on Orkney, Highland Park is the most northerly Scotch whisky distillery in the
world. With its windswept moors, craggy outcrops and ancient religious sites, Orkney is a land full of
mystery and rich in anecdote. This, combined with the wind, rain, lightening, freezing ice, crushing
waves and hail provide the perfect setting for the home of one of the worlds best malt whiskies.

To the newcomer, the island and its single malt are unknown entities. But once tried, many converts
remain devotees for life.

Indeed, in the world of single malts, there are few other brands as highly respected by connoisseurs and
experts as Highland Park. From its multiple award winning 12 year old through to our recently released
16 and 30 year old, Highland Park has a range which is the envy of many of its competitors.

JACK DANIEL'S
THE JACK DANIEL'S FAMILY.

You may not know that we have several brands in our family. And just as every member of your family
is different, our brands are different as well. But there's one thing they all have in common and that's
the spirit of Jack Daniel's.
EXCEPTIONALLY SMOOTH

Just like Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and Jack Daniel's Single Barrel, Gentleman Jack is Charcoal
Mellowed before going into the barrel.

Gentleman Jack, however, receives an additional "blessing" when it is Charcoal Mellowed again after
reaching maturity - making it the only whiskey in the world to be Charcoal Mellowed twice, giving it
ultimate smoothness. Gentleman Jack is full-bodied with fruit and spices, and its finish is silky, warm,
and pleasant. When you drink Gentleman Jack, you'll always enjoy rich, rewarding taste.
TRULY INDIVIDUAL

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey will soon be available in a new bottle that is just as
distinctive as its unique flavor.

Single Barrel is matured in the highest reaches of our barrelhouse where the dramatic changes in
temperature cause its color and taste to deepen further. We still hand-select each barrel for its robust
taste and notes of toasted oak, vanilla, and caramel.

JAGERMEISTER
ICE COLD SHOT!
This is the classic way to drink Jagermeister around the world: whether served directly from the freezer
as a shooter or on-the-rocks. Enjoy it!

PRODUCT
The Herbs
56 herbs, fruits, woods, barks and roots from all over the world. For example, cinnamon from Sri Lanka,
bitter oranges from Australia, ginger root from southern Asia, red sandalwood from East India,
blueberries from Europe... and, of course, the secret herbs for the secret recipe developed by Curt Mast.
The herbs are delivered to Wolfenbttel several times a year. Following an intensive quality control, they
are stored before being processed further.
Weighing, grinding, blending.
The herbs first have to be weighed precisely in accordance with the secret recipe before we can produce
the Jgermeister extract. Next they are ground and blended. The blends are then transported via a
conveyor belt to special tanks where they are "macerated".
Maceration
Here, the macerates (extracts) are obtained from the blends of herbs. The containers are filled with a
cold mixture of alcohol and water. Following a reaction time of 2-3 days, the extract is pumped off. This
process is repeated up to six times. The water used is reduced in our own facility to less than 1 degree
of German water hardness. A variety of macerates are extracted during these processes, which are then
combined in a specific proportion in containers. The finished extract mixture then undergoes another
quality control before being stored in oak barrels for one year.
Storage
A total of ca. 400 oak barrels with an overall capacity of 3.5 million litres are available for the storage of
the extract mixture. The mixture is filtered and filled into barrels, where it is stored for a minimum of
one year. The porous wood adds to its distinctive aroma. Following the maturation year, the extract
mixture is processed into Jgermeister.
Production

Following the maturation year, the extract blend is filtered again. In the dosing facility, it is mixed with
liquid sugar, caramel, water and alcohol and then filtered once again. 30,000 litres flow through here
per hour and are then filled into tanks. Continuous laboratory analyses provide information on
deviations which, naturally, have to be corrected immediately. Now the Jgermeister is ready for its
green bottles!

LAURENT PERRIER
BRUT LAURENT-PERRIER

While champagne shows the character of a specific harvest, non-vintage brut exemplifies the style of a
particular House. Freshness, elegance and balance, all of which are typical of Laurent-Perrier's wines, are
found in the Brut L-P year after year.

The blend is made of wines from more than 55 crus or villages (Chardonnay, is the dominant grape
variety) and between 10 and 20% of reserve wines are used. Brut L-P is aged on its lees for
approximately three years and only a very light dosage is used to preserve its balance and natural
freshness.

With its elegant style, Brut L-P has led the way in making champagne the ideal apritif. Perfectly
balanced, with crisp flavors and finesse, it is also an ideal companion for fish, poultry and white meat.
Serve between 8C and 10C.

CUVEE ROSE LAURENT-PERRIER

This champagne is famous for its highly expressive bouquet, which stems from the very careful
preservation of the grape's natural fresh red fruit aromas. It is one of the rare ros champagnes to be
made using the maceration (skin contact) technique, which gives it the extraordinary depth and
freshness that has made it the benchmark for ros champagne around the world.

Revered by wine-lovers for its flavours and by aesthetes for the beauty of its 17th century-style bottle,
the Cuve Ros Brut is one of the stars in the Laurent-Perrier range.

The Cuve Ros Brut makes a delicious apritif. It pairs very well with charcuterie and poultry, and is an
extraordinary match for red fruit desserts. The more daring will try it with Asian cuisine.
Serve between 8C and 10C.

GRAND SIECLE par LAURENT-PERRIER

To produce Laurent-Perriers luxury cuve, Bernard de Nonancourt (owner of LP) decided to
concentrate on two of the mainstays of Champagnes know-how: the blending of different crus (wines
from separate villages) and from different harvest years.

The epitome of Champagne blending, Grand Sicle calls on wines from the finest growths and the very
best harvests; years which have been declared as vintages by Laurent-Perrier. The blended wine is then
aged for about 5 years.

Complex and well-balanced, Grand Sicle contains all the ingredients to enable it to match a wide range
of refined dishes. It would provide the perfect foil to poultry with truffles, or to veal with wild
mushrooms. One could also try it with fish such as red mullet or sea-bass. For a magnificent start to a
festive meal, serve it as an aperitif.
Serve between 10 and 12C.

LAURENT-PERRIER ULTRA BRUT
Its creation is contemporary like that of Nouvelle Cuisine. Similar to this lighter, purer way of preparing
food, Laurent-Perrier Ultra Brut appears without make-up, in its natural form. It is a brut nature
champagne, that is, with no dosage, and making it requires considerable know-how. Its style appeals to a
growing number of wine-lovers who discover with it many new ways of enjoying champagne.

Its delicate finish, which leaves the palate fresh, and its subtle balance make this the most versatile
champagne in Laurent-Perrier's range.

Its capacity to bring out flavours in food makes it ideal from apritif to dessert. This champagne pairs
well with caviar or foie gras, seafood or oysters - and even accompanying a cigar at the end of a meal.
Serve between 8C and 10C .

LAURENT-PERRIER DEMI-SEC
The general movement towards dryer wines, together with the habit of drinking champagne as an
apritif, has popularized the consumption of Brut. However, many wine-lovers still enjoy the softness
and the gentle reminder of past pleasures provided by a Demi-Sec, especially when served with a
dessert.

The blend is made of wines from more than 55 crus or villages, and at least 10%, and sometimes over
20% of reserve wines are incorporated. After ageing for approximately three years, the wine is dosed
with a liqueur made of cane sugar and wine from the same cuve. Roughly 45 grams of sugar per liter
are used.

The richness of the Demi-Sec naturally calls for sweet dessert dishes and will add depth and flavours to
such desserts, especially pastries.
Serve between 6C and 8C.

MARTINI
The Secret of MARTINI is guarded under lock and key

Luigis 1863 formula for Rosso is known to only four individuals alongside the later recipes for Extra
Dry, Bianco and Rosato

These compositions detail the exact combinations and preparations of over 40 individual botanicals

It represents a lifetimes work in harnessing and blending natural botanicals to give the most rounded
and perfectly balanced taste

Today our formula is safely stored in Geneva vault and we remain faithful to the original compositions
Ivano Tonutti The 8th Master Herbalist

Our most complex secret is how we capture the tastes,
aromas, and textures of our natural botanicals

For over 18 years Ivano has been in charge of overseeing
the search for the best botanical ingredients from across
the globe

Over 40 Botanicals are used coming from all continents

Botanicals arrive with us in their natural form having been

dried slowly using traditional techniques to preserve their
aromatic character
The aroma room

Once received every botanical is quality checked again

All botanicals vary with each harvest and we must
guarantee both the quality and character
to remain faithful to our formulation

Ivano and his team make their assessment by touch,
taste and smell. We retain only the best

Sampling over 500 botanical samples a year they keep
the benchmark for quality locked within their memories
The slow turn

Once selected the aromatic essence of the botanicals must
be captured

A specific blend of Botanicals with some natural alcohol are
placed in the unique tamburo

The tamburo gently turn the botanicals. They move slowly,
making only two rotations a day, any faster would impart overly
bitter characters.

They turn for two to four weeks to create a pure elixir
Distillation

For MARTINI Rosato and Extra Dry
we need some very light elixir
produced from delicate fruits

Pessione houses a pair of English Pot Stills
which are used to create those elixirs

The botanicals are mixed with natural
alcohol then distilled to produce a very fine
top note aromatic
Blending and Finishing

Department 54 is the where the marriage of MARTINI is made

Each ingredient is slowly blended together in a precise order
without pressure or heat

Once we achieve the perfect marriage between wines
and botanicals we add pure natural alcohol to preserve
the botanicals and natural sugar for balance

The blend is then rested or Il Riposo as we call it in order to marry together

Finally it is chilled to -8C in Il Frigo just above freezing
to capture and preserve all the delicate flavours

METAXA
Three Greek grape varieties are crushed to produce a special wine. From the fertile soil of Attica comes
the deliciously distinctive Savatiano, which mingles with Sultanina from Crete and Black Corinth form
the sundrenched south.

Under the strict supervision of the State General Laboratory, the wine is then distilled using a traditional
two-stage process. The first distillation from the Copper Pot Still produces a liquid called 'Brouilly'. In
the second distillation, the 'Brouilly' is separated into a head, heart and tail, from which only the
colorless spirit of the heart is retained.

The master blender lets the distillates age by leaving them to mature in specially handmade French
Limousin oak casks. The maturation process lasts between three and thirty years.

Blending the resulting spirits is a unique art, known only by a few people in the world. The master
blenders keep the centuries-old tradition of silence, and pass their knowledge on through generations of
apprentices who succeed them.

The distillates are mixed with aged Muscat wines from the Aegean islands of Samos and Limnos. These
provide Metaxa's distinctive bouquet and sweetness. Then the mixture passes through a blend of secret
Mediterranean botanicals and rose petals.

Finally, the mixture is allowed to rest in handmade oak casks in the cellars of the distillery, within the
darkness and low temperatures which it requires. After stabilization, Metaxa is bottled and ready to
return to the world of sunlight once again.

We could just tell you that it's a rich distillation of three special varieties of grapes. This distillation is
then matured from 3 to 30 years in oak casks, then mixed with aged Muscat wines and a secret blend of
botanicals in a time-honoured, internationally renowned recipe.

All absolutely true, but it hardly conveys the passion with which every drop of Metaxa is infused.

So close your eyes and imagine yourself transported to the land of Greece, where the perfect warmth of
the sun creates both the unique taste of Metaxa and the joyful, genuine nature of those who enjoy it.

Then open your eyes to a land of bright, sparkling waters lit by endless days of golden Mediterranean
sunshine and cooled by fresh, salty breezes. And open your heart to its people who live for the present
in a land rich with myth and history.

Then order a Metaxa and savour the spirit of Greece, with over 2000 hours of sunshine distilled into
every bottle.
Metaxa is the only spirit that liberates the part of yourself that lives, thinks and feels Mediterranean, in a
Greek way.
The Range:
Metaxa 3* is the youngest member of the Metaxa family. Its simple yet stylish bottle reflects the beauty
of the sun and the sweetness of the grapes from which it is born.

Its blended distillates are more than three years old - young enough to be full of life, yet sufficiently
mature to convey the warm Mediterranean spirit characteristic of the Metaxa brand.

Metaxa 3* is often chosen to give the first experience of the world of Metaxa, competing favourably with
premium local and imported brandies and imported white spirits.

Tasting Notes
Colour: honey
Aroma: sweet and mellow, subtle, raisiny, fruity

Taste: young, fruity
Metaxa 5* lies at the heart of the Metaxa family.
Presented within a tall, elegant bottle, its spirit captures the warmth of the sun. Wine distillates of at
least five years old provide this blend with its characteristically smooth, aged fruity taste, perfectly
complemented by its dark honey color.

Able to compete at a similar price level to premium imported mainstream spirits - e.g. Scotch whisky -
in every market, the 5* is quite simply a classic - yet a highly accessible one.

Tasting Notes
Colour: dark honey
Aroma: more raisin than fruity, subtly woody
Taste: sweet and mellow, fruity, soft, aged, slightly woody
Metaxa 7* is a very sophisticated member of the Metaxa family. Its bottle is inspired by the ancient
Greek vases, called 'Amphorae', which were used to carry wines and spirits.

Containing distillates at least 7 years old, Metaxa 7* is a spirit of distinction, with a gold colour and a
full-bodied, raisiny, sweet taste.

This deluxe spirit appeals to the more discerning palate, and is recognised to compete on the same
pricing level as premium Deluxe Scotch, Bourbon or Cognac VS.

Tasting Notes
Color: old gold
Aroma: delicate, Muscat, woody
Taste: full-bodied, light vanilla, mellow, aged, woody
Metaxa 12*
is the superior expression of the METAXA Stars Range. It embraces precious wine distillates, aged
patiently in French Limousin oak casks, and exquisite Muscat wines exclusively from the Aegean island
of Samos, where grapes grow on garden-sized, terrace vineyards and are picked only by hand. A secret
bouquet of May roses and Mediterranean herbs tops off this blend, created by the Metaxa Master
Constantinos Raptis.)

Tasting Notes
Color: radiant amber, with bronze reflections at the rim.
Aroma: lush and velvety, beautifully balanced, with notes of honeyed fruits (figs and prunes), liquorice.
Taste 1st bouquet: lively, concentrated and aromatic.
Taste 2nd bouquet: dried flowers and fine spicy aromatic herbs take turns in revealing themselves;
coffee, butterscotch & chocolate work together with dried prunes and orange peel.
Finish: toasted oak with long, rewarding finish and a touch of spice and orange peel that build intensity
at the finale.
Enjoy METAXA 12* neat or on a single rock.
Metaxa Grande Fine is an extremely mature and well respected member of the Metaxa family. Its
distinctive ceramic bottle was inspired by ancient Greek designs originating from the island of Rhodes.

Within the bottle is a spirit whose distillates are on average 15 years old, the youngest being more than
8 years old. The silky-smooth taste carries hints of vanilla within the amber color, balanced by the
aroma of wood.

The superb quality of this premium spirit is appreciated by all connoisseurs, but particularly by those
who enjoy specially aged spirits such as VSOP Cognac, deluxe Scotch and malt whiskies, which are
available at a similar price.

Tasting Notes
Color: amber
Aroma: fully aromatic, woody, well balanced
Taste: silky, ample, aged, with a slight touch of vanilla

from the land of Lesvos and salt from the salterns in Kalloni, Lesvos. The proportions of those
ingredients are a secret, as is the recipe that Isidoros left behind.

How to drink ouzo

The production of Ouzo takes place traditionally and exclusively in Greece. Ouzo is considered the
national drink of Greece and has its own way to be enjoyed with mezedes (appetizers served in small
dishes). The rules that follow, without being binding, are a part of what in Greece we call The Ritual of
Ouzo

1st Rule
Face to face. Time for Ouzo, is not just time for food. It is about spending time with precious people.

2nd Rule:
Opposites attracts. The flavors accompanying Ouzo are contrasting and aggressive. Sour and salty, sweet
and bitter, spicy and refreshing, always with Ouzo by the side.

3rd Rule:
One for all and all for one. One meze from each type is enough. Meze is just to stimulate the taste buds
and not to make the stomach full.

4th Rule:
Always accompanied. Ouzo is always better with water or ice cubes than plain. Ice gives Ouzo the right
temperature, while the addition of some water makes it as cloudy as we all love it. And one more detail:
to avoid the creation of crystals, first add water and then the ice.

5th Rule:
Simplicity is essential. Numerous dishes are not necessary. The appetizers should be small and able to be
replenished quickly, in order for them to be discernible on the plate and offered more easily!

However, above all, there is only one rule: improvise spontaneously. This is the only way to experience
the authentic!

THE MACALLAN
The Macallan is one of the worlds most awarded and admired Single Malts. This peerless reputation
has been built by the commitment of The Masters of Spirit and Wood, those craftsmen at the heart of
The Macallan for almost two centuries. Their obsessive pursuit of perfection has ensured the consistent
quality that has characterised The Macallan since it was legally licensed in 1824.
Today, in the finest hotels, bars and restaurants around the world, from New York to Shanghai, The
Macallan is sought after and savoured by discerning whisky lovers who recognise it as the worlds most
precious whisky.
Carefully nurtured by its Masters of Spirit and Wood and guided by The Six Pillars, The Macallan
remains The Single Malt against which all others must be judged. It is, quite simply, The Malt.

Six unique pillars
1. THE SPIRITUAL HOME

Easter Elchies House proudly watches over The Macallan distillery in Speyside, Scotland.

Built in 1700, this Jacobean manor house is The Macallans spiritual home.
2. CURIOUSLY SMALL STILLS
The Macallans curiously small and uniquely shaped copper stills help to concentrate the flavour of the
new make spirit
3. THE FINEST CUT
The cut is the amount of distilled spirit collected from the stills. The Macallan takes one of the finest
cuts of any distillery in Scotland; only the best of the best, typically just 16%, is selected to fill our
casks. This distinctly robust and characterful new make spirit is the starting point for all Macallan
4. EXCEPTIONAL OAK CASKS
Under the guidance of George Espie, The Macallan Master of Wood, every single cask is either hand-
crafted or hand-selected. It is this unfaltering obsession with selecting exceptional oak casks that delivers
the wonderful variety of colour, aroma and flavour throughout The Macallan range.

5. NATURAL COLOUR
At The Macallan, natural colour is something we insist on. It is the interaction of spirit and wood alone
which delivers the rich diversity of colour evident throughout The Macallan range.
6. PEERLESS SPIRIT
The Macallan Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgarno keeps a watchful eye on the slumbering casks, selecting the
moment when each cask is at the peak of maturity and perfect for bottling. It is this mastery of spirit
and wood that creates The Macallan.the worlds most precious whisky

The Macallan 1824 Series: Amber 0,7L

The Macallan 1824 Series: Amber 0,7L
"Celebrating a moment in time"

Colour: Amber
ABV: 40%
Nose: Polite, almost apologetic at first, with a floral, citrus sweet nose that gains presence, commanding
a chorus of vanilla notes over freshly harvested grain. Raisin, sultana and cinnamon look on as toffee
apples and candy floss step into the limelight.
Palate: Fresh green apples and lemons mingle with cinnamon. Ginger notes hover as fruit takes over,

with subtle oak lingering in the wings.
Finish: Light to medium with soft fruits and cereal, slightly dry.

The Macallan 1824 Series: Sienna 0,7L
"Simply Macallan"
Colour: Sienna
ABV: 43%
Nose: Opens with a subtle vanilla nose, persistent yet not overpowering. Orange elbows its way in,
turning zesty and sharp, though tempering green apples add freshness and balance. Next come white
chocolate truffles, chewy, sumptuous, with elegant oak notes for a digestif.
Palate: Dates, figs and raisins lead, then defer to nutmeg and ginger with a hint of oranges and apples,
before vanilla returns in majesty.
Finish: The final fanfare is gentle, smooth and warming.

The Macallan 1824 Series: Ruby 0,7L
"A Hidden Gem"
Colour: Ruby
ABV: 43%
Nose: Disturbed from a long sleep in a dark and quiet warehouse, European oak piques the nose before
reluctantly admitting rich, dried fruits and an edgy trickle of treacle. A hesitant sweetness enters, then
oak reasserts itself, burnished and mature.
Palate: A rush of ginger, nutmeg and resin herald orange, sultana and raisin with their restrained but
pervasive sweetness. Clove is here and gone, leaving oak the undisputed maestro.
Finish: The finish is long, lingering and reflective.

WILLIAM LAWSON'S
The fertile land and location of the distillery combine to produce GLEN DEVERON the Award
winning, fruity malt which lies at the heart of the WILLIAM LAWSONS blend.
A proportion of the casks used to mature GLEN DEVERON are sherry casks contributing to its full
fruity impression.
What is the secret of William Lawssons big, bold taste?
Its all down to the selection of only the fruitiest malts from across Scotland which is very apt
considering the distillery was built within the fruit Orchard of Duff House.
I also avoid any of the more smoky malts that would counter the glorious fruity flavor. To ensure the
satisfying balance is achieved, I chose a selection of aged grain whiskies that lend this fruit flavor extra
bite.
Stephanie Maclead is the William Lawsons Master Blender and explain the secret in creating this big
bold and fruity blend.
