PAL 11 is a full credit course that fulfills the required Physical Education requireent for !igh
"chool graduation. #his course is different than Physical Education 1$ in that it is based around
providing a %ide variety of physical activities for student involveent in a rela&ed' less
copetitive environent.
#he purpose of this course is to introduce students to a variety of gaes' activities and e&ercises
in an effort to proote a healthy and active lifestyle. #hese %ill include tea gaes' fitness
activities' co(operative gaes' lifetie activities and lo%(organi)ed gaes.
#here are 1$ classes in the *(+ay cycle.
- #here %ill be , activity classes per cycle. #hese activities %ill vary fro day to day and
soe days there %ill be options for participation to choose fro.
- #here %ill be - 0itness classes per cycle. "tudents %ill be guided in a three(part e&ercise
%or.out per class ( fle&ibility' uscular strength or endurance /your choice0' and
cardiovascular activities.
- #here %ill be 1 theory /classroo0 classes per cycle. #hese are scheduled for one of the

their ability in all classes. "oe activities %ill not require students to change.
