Every group has a comedian, a snob ..a happy go lucky type, a hopeless romantic.. and a quirky member
..and we are not exceptionwe too have all those in our group but here I would like to tell about my
quirky friend who consider himself a psychic (though we rest of the group consider him rather a psycho
than a psychic). He has a smattering of everything ..like the proverbial jack of everything . So as a rule
of thumb in the group ..he must not be taken seriously.
And about many things he blathers about .. one subject caught my attention is the subject of
reincarnation..as it the central theme of many religions but the subject didnt excited me much but the
way he presented it and what was most intriguing about that the uncanny resemblance of the
subjects he discussed. But, again Id like to reiterate that he is that kind of person who should not be
taken seriously (as I follow the thumb rule) then why I am writing about him there must be a
reason.. and the reason is that his logic (as he says) is very plausible (at least when you see but may not
when you think) all might be coincidences . But I think I should give him a chanceand leave the
decision to the readers of this blog.
So the iconic title hasta la vista , baby made popular by our own he-man Arnie.. the phrase simply
means see you later if we leave out the baby part of the phrase. ..and indeed Arnie returned in the
sequel.. so, does it happen only in the reel- life or ..does it happen in real life too
Is re-incarnation a reality? .. or just a figment of imagination. Does soul depart forever or they come
again and again in different garbs. If the answer is a simple no then the chapter closed but if yes..
then what is the proof scientific or unscientific I am not certain about it but one thing is certain that
the answer in one . Either YES or NO may be in coming future ...technology could pave the way to
find the absolute truth.
It is often quoted by the spiritualists that we do re incarnate the place and time changes.. but we
remain the same like Kabir has said in his couplet Maya mari na man mara, mari mari gaya sharir
aasha trishna na mari, kah gaye das kabir a simple translation of it suggest that the mind doesnt die
with all its hopes and desires ..but the body dies many times simply put in other way the software
changes many hardware but remains the sameone hardware gets feeble sick or ..old the software
leaves the hardware to get a new one.
According to him in every case of incarnation there should be a continuity a continuity of thoughts
continuity of interests.. continuity of features (less in case of change of sex as the features get modified
in other sex..or in case of deep desire to change the feature as he or she was not at all happy with the
way he or she looked in the previous incarnation). But the fact remains the same as the software is
the same ..it will create more or less same hardware
Though he claim to have a hunch about any personality and in a flash his past incarnation comes to his
mind (no ghost business ) but is this just a casual thought ..or a sudden revelation (I seriously doubt
that) to verify this he uses this affinity rule . Every soul has affinity towards certain place, certain jobs
and certain individuals.. so if the relationship exits.. it could be a case of reincarnation.
So, I just want to share some of the cases ..and I leave it to the reader to judge whether it is a truth of
just a figment of a quirky mind.
