Friends at Westbourne,

What a privilege to attend Verna's parents' 75
th
wedding anniversary on
June 29
th
. The two of them were in decent health and readily welcomed
each of us (75 80 over the course of the weekend) with smiles and
hugs. Dad's reminder Sunday morning was 'whatever your hands find to
do, do it well to the glory of God' as he shared snippets of their journey
with the Lord's enabling.

Good news from the team at Canada Institute of Linguistics (CanIL).
The annual fundraising event in July is called The Training Ride. God
blessed us... about 45 enthusiastic participants and their sponsors helped
raise a large amount for scholarships for aspiring translators.

Thank you for your encouragement, financial help and continued
prayers as we press on with Dad's reminder before us. Trusting the Lord
for renewed strength and vision in all we do.

Recovering Redemption, what does it
mean? Because we have a tendency to
drift from the gospel, we must be
reoriented back to the gospel. We must
recover a right understanding and
application of the gospel. We must see
that the gospel is the fuel for salvation and
sanctification and the panacea to fix all
things.
