PRECAUTIONS

This disc contains software for the system. Never use this disc on any other system, as it could damage it. This disc conforms
to specifications for the PAL market only. It cannot be used on other specification versions of Read the
system Instruction Manual carefully to ensure correct usage. When inserti ng this disc in the PlayStation3 system always
place it with the required playback side facing down. When handling the di sc, do not touch the surface. Hold it by the edge. Keep the di sc
dean and free of scratches. Should the surface become dirty, wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not leave the disc near heat sources or
in direct sunlight or excessive moisture. Do not use an irregularly shaped disc, a cracked or warped disc, or one that has been repaired with
adhesives, as it could lead to malfunction.
HEALTH WARNING
Al ways play in a well lit environment. Take regular breaks, 15 minutes every hour. Discontinue playing if you experience diuiness, nausea,
fat igue or have a headache. Some individuals are sensitive to fl ashing or flickering lights or geometric shapes and patterns. may have an
undetected epileptic condition and may experience epileptic seizures when watching television or playing videogames. Consult your doctor
before playing videogames if you have an epileptic condition and immediately should you experience any of the following symptoms whilst
playing: altered vi sion, muscle twitching, other involuntary movement, loss of awareness, -fDnfusion and/or convulsions.
3D HEALTH WARNING
Some people may experience discomfort (such as eye strain, eye fatigue or nausea) while watching 30 video images or playi ng stereoscopic
30 games on 30 televisions. If you experience such discomfort you should immediately discontinue use of your television until the
discomfort subsides.
Generally we recommend that you avoid prolonged use of your PlayStatione3 system and take 15 minute breaks during each hour of play.
However, when playing stereoscopic 30 games or watching 3D vi deo, the length and frequency of necessary breaks may vary from person
to person- please take breaks that are long enough to allow any feelings of discomfort to subside. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
The vision of young chi ldren (especially those under six years old) is still under development. We recommend that you consult with your child's
doctor or optometrist before allowing young children to watch 30 video images or play stereoscopic 30 games. Adults should supervise young
children to ensure they follow the recommendations listed above.

SETTING UP
Set up the PlayStationiJI3 system according to the instructions in its instruction manual.
At start-up, the power indicator light will glow red to indicate that the PlayStationl!l3 system is in Standby Mode.
Press the power button and the power indicator light will turn green.
Insert the WARRIORS OROCHI3 disc into the disc slot with the label side facing upwards. Select the ,.. icon from the XMBTM Menu and
press the 0 button to continue. Make sure there is enough free space on the Hard Disk Drive (HOD) before commencing play. Do not insert
or remove peripherals once the power is turned on.
Please refer to the PlayStation!B3 system's instruction manual for further details about setting up and recharging a Wireless Controller.
This title uses autoload and autosave features. Please do not turn off the system when the HOD access indicator is flashing.
PLEASE NOTE: the information in this manual was correct at the time of going to print, but some minor changes may have

Perform an attack that is more powerful than a Normal Attack.
By following up Normal Attacks with a Charge Attack such

techniques that are specific to each officer. The higher your
officer's level. the more types of Charge Attacks you can use.

Perform a powerful attack while in the air.

attack, you can knock the enemy back with a Counterattack.

Musou Attack o button
If you press @ while your Musou Gauge is full . you will perform
an extremely powerful special attack and will be invincible
while performing it. DYNASTY WARRIORS and SAMURAI
WARRIORS characters have their own unique versions of the
Musou Attack.
A DYNASTY WARRIORS character's Musou Attack will consume
a set amount of the Musou Gauge, while a SAMURAI WARRIORS character's Musou Attack
will consume the entire gauge.

If you perform a Musou Attack when your Life Gauge is low and colored red, you will perform
an even more powerful attack than normal. Additionally, a Fire attribute will be added to your
attack.
)lo- Multi Musou Attack
If you are playing with two players (P. 12) and there is an
electrical charge linking both players and you both perform a
Musou Attack at roughly the same time, then you will perform
an even more powerful attack than normal. Additionally, a Fire
elemental will be added to your attack.

You can press [[!] to perform a special maneuver unique to your officer's attack category.
You can also use the move while being attacked by the enemy. It will consume a portion of the

Gauge, you can press [LI' or []I] while being
attacked and your support character will appear and
knock back the surrounding enemies.
This attack will use a portion of the Museu Gauge.

During battle, you can obtain various benefits
Skills & from an off1cer's Skill and attributes affixed to
their weapon.
Each officer has their own
unique Skill. The effects of the Skill will
apply to all of the members of your team.
During battle, you can receive the effects
of all the Skills your team possesses. You
can confirm the details of each Skill by
going to the Team Info (P.1 9) section of the
Pause Menu.
If you equip a
weapon that has an attribute, then you
will be able to have that attribute added to
attacks such as certain Charge Attacks.
By going to the Weapons Dealer (P.16)
within the Camp, and selecting Weapon
Fusion, you can add new or strengthen
existing attributes on your weapon.

II> True Triple Attack
If you press ITD and CBlJ at the same t ime when your True Triple Attack Gauge (P.21) is full ,
you will enter True Triple Attack Mode.
You can fill the Trw Triplt Attack Gauge by ttac+Ung enemies. If you use Switch Combos or 5uppor1 Attacks, then tilt gauge will fil l even latter.
Once you are in True Triple Attack Mode, your
supporting characters will come to join your
playable character and will attack any enemies in
the area.
You will remain in True Tr iple Attack Mode until the
True Triple Attack Gauge is empty.
When your True Triple Attack Gauge runs
out, your three team members will perform
a finishing move. All of the enemies that you
touched while in True Triple Attack Mode
will be attacked with a powerful finishing
attack.
Enemies defeated by a True Triple Attack will leave
gems (P.I6) . You will automatically pick up the gems
that are dropped.
Sometimes, you may aJ10 obtain rare crystals.

By pressing START during the opening movie or at the Title Screen, you can proceed to the
Main Menu.
Saving & Loading \ "

The game will automatically save (autosave) from time to time, such as after clearing a stage.
You can also save by going to the Options menu on the Status screen (P.I-4).

You can save during battle by selecting Interim Save from the Pause Menu ( P.IS).
When you have interim save data, you can continue the game by selecting Resume froP1 the
Main Menu.

If you have saved game dat a, t hen it will load the data automatically.
To resume using previous interim save data, select Resume from t he Main Menu.

In Story Mode and Free Mode, you can play co-operatively with two players. While at the
Stage Selection screen or the Preparation screen (P.18), Player 2 can join the battle by
pressing START if "2P PRESS STARr' is displayed in the upper right comer of the screen.
By connecting to the internet, you can also play online with two players (P.20).

base. you can travel back in time and fight the battles of the past. By changing history, you can

Musou Battlefields Confirm the details of battlefields you have uploaded in Musou Battlefields.
Team Members
Choose "Select Team" from the Status screen. You can select
the officer you wish to change as well as the other officers
you want to appear in the next battle. After you have chosen
your three team members. press START to complete your
choice.
Select Stage
Move into the circle of light (P. 14) within the Camp or select
Begin Battle on the Status screen in order to proceed to the
Stage Selection screen.

Once you have chosen your three officers and pressed START. you will be taken to the
Preparation screen.
If you press START during battle, you will be taken to the Pause Menu screen.
The map will be displayed on both the Preparation screen and the Pause Menu screen.

Preparation screen, you will be able to accept
missions from officers participating in the
battle.
By completing the missions assigned to you
for the battle. your bonds with the assigning

Musou Gauges for inactive characters will gradually refill.

The bonds between officers will have various effects on the game.
Raising Bonds
The bonds between officers will be strengthened by performing any of the following acts:
I Fight on the same battlefield as allies (the bonds between allied officers will increase).

Select the officers as fellow team members for battle
(the bonds between team members will increase).

Accept and complete missions before baccle
(the bonds between the assigning officer and your team will increase).

Rescue all ied officers who are struggling in battle
(the bonds between the rescued officer and your team will increase).

Hold parties at the Teahouse within the Camp (the bonds between the participating officers will
increase) .

What are Musou Battlefields?
In Musou Battlefields, you can freely customize battlefields
that you have cleared within Story Mode or Free Mode.
By obtaining Musou Battlefield Elements after stages in Story
Mode, you will be able to edit even more parameters of each
stage. In addition, you can upload battlefields you have edited
to the internet and share them with other players.

Select Musou Battlefields from the Main Menu and choose Edit Battlefield.
If you are editing a new battlefield, select Create New. If you wish to re-edit an existing edited
battlefield, select Re-edit.

3. If your game is covered under a store warranty, return the Game Disc to
