Hoobahs Entertainment Corporation (HEC)

Available information from the case study
It has currently got ground floor and need to consider for following attribution to
remain and target for followings things:
The hotel can Target for 1,080 guests.
Ground floor is going to modify on the way to dining and stage shows.
Objective function
The Hoobahs Entertainment Corporation (HEC) management wants to rebuilt
and want to followings things:
Maximise income with the attribution of controlling variables and subject
to constraint.
Maximization for optimal model=($B$4+$C$4-
$D$4)*$B$12+($B$5+$C$5-$D$5)*$B$13+($B$6+$C$6-
$D$6)*$B$14+($B$7+$C$7-$D$7)*$B$15-$G$11+$G$12-$G$13-
$G$14+$G$15
Subject to Constraints
Affecting to side of Type of Guest for following
$B$12>=$D$12
$B$13>=$D$13
$B$14<=$E$14
$B$14>=$D$14
$B$15>=$D$15
$G$17<=$E$18
$G$18<=$E$19

$G$19<=$E$21
Base revenue per day on behalf of per 1 poker machine players for
each day on the transaction raised would for income of Hoobahs.
Food and drink revenue per day on behalf of how much poker machine
would carry out revenue per day for Hoobahs.
On the side effect (rates) that is for following:
i. Pokies - remaining constant as not affected by other variables of
guest.
ii. Gamers for every 25 machine players on the substantial floor
and affecting side to gamer spending money in lead for $5
decrease. As well as 10 high roller for each gamer spending $5
high income.
a. 25 machine players will spend $5 less
=$B$12/25*5*$B$13
b. Every 10 high rollers for each gamer spend $5 more
=$B$15/10*5*$B$13
iii. Show guests whether dinner players can be attracted by
machine and help to lead for carrying extra amount by $2 single
effecting by every single 25 machine players.
a. Dinner guests are distracted so spend less $2 for every 25
machine players =$B$12/25*5*$B$15
iv. High rollers here gambler spend less $5 per 25 poker machine
players. Whereas spending $10 for every 25 gamers in
entertaining.
b. Gamblers spend less $5 per 25 poker machine players
=$B$12/25*5*$B$15
c. Energised by game change players and spend $10 more for
every 25 gamers =$B$13/25*10*$B$15

Others information regarding limitation for Hoobahs Entertainment Corporation
(HEC)
Concentrate for reliable market and factor affecting different mode of guest
involving on activity in following which are as follows:
No of players machine players who playing pokies and slot machine
Gamers playing blackjack
Roulette and craps
High rollers playing the game card and bating large amount of money
Others like entertainment and dinner show.
No negativity (cant destroy Hoobahs entertainment corporation)
1. Income and expenses may differ from type of guest that may on HEC.
2. Subject to our variables must be greater or must be equal to zero
Others Given Informational
Capacity of 50,000 square feet of space on ground floor.
5,000 square feet consumed for buffet dining
And 5,000 square feet for fine dining and a show area to consumed.
Whereas Fire regulations limit the number of people in the ground floor area to
1,850 people.
Gamming area needed for HEC =$E$4*$B$12+$B$13*$E$5+$B$15*$E$7
Buffet dinning to found out fine dining and show area =$B$14*$E$6

Review to the case material and to identify
1. Decisions to be made under first and second scenario.
2. Necessary Discussion of Both scenarios and my recommendation to
management.

Dealing with optimal alternative model
Type of Guest Number of people
Pokies 600
Gamers 300
Show Guests 500
High Rollers 200
Revenue Oriented $1,219,900

With the help of set objective of optimization model Hoobash entertainment
Corporation (HEC), could maximization its profit by increasing the number to high
rollers, as well as gamers in some proportion so that it could set an optimal number of
people 1,690 where the constraints to ground floor is 1,850. Show guest are increased
up to the number of 110 so that it could bind for $2 spend more in dinner guest who
may be distracted for playing every 25 machine.
However, profitability guest making money on high rollers also has been increased to
200 from 20 because they are the key source for making less on 42 per every 25 poker
machine and spending on double amount of that poker for every gamer machine.
Although gamers have to intended to minimize loss on value but they indirectly help to
the point of optimization to company model.
In the alternative scenario we could be able to maximization on revenue if we try to
touch the limitation to the number of people to be constraint and lead to increase in
every show guest to roller who spending single amount of money to lead the profit of
management.
