This is a Pennsylvania-specific plan to reform Medicaid,
protect taxpayers, and increase access to quality,
affordable health care.
Pennsylvania is the first state in the country to have a
sweeping common sense, state-based Medicaid reform
plan approved by the federal government.
Increases access to coverage for more than 600,000
eligible Pennsylvanians
Enrollment to begin on December 1, 2014 with an
implementation for coverage effective on J anuary 1,
2015
