Error-Analysis in language-teaching

Abstract
As future teacher of English, I consider important to understand and visualize
beforehand the processes involved in the acquisition of a Second Language.
Those processes can be of a real different nature, from a very pedagogical
origin to those connected to the science of sycholinguistics, i.e., it is
essential to contemplate a complete overvie! of the acquisition of a Second
Language !here not only the teacher is considered, but also the student as a
comple" protagonist in the learning process.
This research is focused on the correction of errors and mista#es at
different linguistic levels and ho! the constant correction of them from the
teacher !ill help the student to improve and fi" the aim structures and le"ical
items.

This pro&ect intends to analyse Language Aptitude in detail. It !ill describe
the abilities !hich ma#e up the concept of language aptitude as !ell as the

The investigation is concerned !ith (Error Analysis), one of the ma&or topics
in the field of second and foreign language learning. The learners* errors have
long been interesting for researchers, !hose basic tas# is to describe ho!
learning occurs by e"amining the learners* output and this includes their
correct and incorrect utterances. This particular research !as done to
investigate about the importance of errors in the acquisition of English as a
foreign language. In order to do it, a case study too# place, !hich included the
collection of different samples of !or#s done by students, so as to see !hich
the errors !ere, and if there !ere any changes at the end of the pro&ect.

Reading Comprehension
Abstract
As future teacher of English, it is important to understand and be a!are of
the procedures involved in the learning process. There are many different
procedures according to the different learning styles. As teachers one of the
#eys to succeed is the possibility to have a !ide vie! on the different
processes children used so as to reach comprehension.
This research is focused on reading comprehension+ ho! students process the
input they receive in order to fulfill de different tas#s. E"posure to the
language, age group, bac#ground #no!ledge, and variety of tools students are
able to manage are some of the factors analysed in this research.
