Service

Carry out the following service work first on each machine prior to calibration: -

Water System

1. Remove water inlet hose and inspect and clean filters on hot water inlet
2. Remove water inlet hose and inspect and clean filters on cold water inlet
3. Replace hose and check for leaks.
. Check fill time of hot water only to e!ual 1 to 1 1"2 mins.
#. Check volume in chamber is correct $ see calibration procedure below %
&. Check fill time of cold water only to e!ual 1 to 1 1"2 mins.
'. Check volume in chamber is correct $ see calibration procedure below %
(. Check float switch is operational by using an aid to hold it in the up position - close the lid
and using the manual controls try to get the system to fill. )f the flow meter number on the
display remains static the float switch is working correctly.
*. Check the overflow pipe is connected and clear by using manual controls to overfill the
system
1+. Check drain pump is operational and is emptying the chamber in 3+ secs









Compressed Air System

1. ,sk client to see log of maintenance of regulator and filter on incoming air supply
2. Remove back of machine and check condition of filter - indicator on top should be green.
)f red replace filter as per manufacturers instructions.
3. -et ,ir .emperature controller to # degrees
. /sing manual controls select a drying pressure of 1.+ bar
#. Check the inlet holes of the manifold are all allowing air to come into the chamber $ 1+
holes %
&. -et ,ir .emperature controller to 1#+ degrees
&. Check using a thermometer that the heater bo0 is working by placing a thermometer in
the air stream at a low pressure 1.+ bar and allow to run for # minutes - check temperature
is increasing.
'. Clean chamber outlet holes and side bo0 by removing bung and cleaning inside chamber

General

1. Check fan is working on back cover
2. 1ash " replace filter over fan on back cover
3. ,pply a small !uantity of grease to nipple points.
. 2o electrical earth test
#. Check interior for loose wires
&. Check interior for any water leaks - check during filling and emptying.
'. 2o final clean of complete system
'. Run pre heat program to verify unit working correctly
(. ,pply service and calibration label
*. 3ake a recording of the run time of the drive train system.
1+. )f re!uired clean and replace lubricant on lid gasket.





Calibration

Water Volume

1. Check the water volume is set to 3.+ litres
2. Run pre-heat program
3. /sing manual controls fill chamber with water setting at + C
. /sing manual controls select drain
#. /sing manual controls fill chamber with water setting at + C
&. )nsert measuring device and measure depth of water
'. 4evel of the water should be 2#. mm 5"- 3 mm
(. )f ad6ustment is needed select from the maintenance menu 7set water level 7 and enter
ad6ustment volume.
*. )f ad6ustment is done re-check from 2
1+. Repeat from 2 but fill chamber with water setting at &+ C




Water Temperature

1. Run pre-heat program
2. /sing manual controls fill chamber with water setting at &+ C
3. 8lace measuring device by the sensor
. Check measuring device against controller display to e!ual display 5"- 1C
#. )f a correction is necessary notify client before making change.
&. Change controller settings to match measuring device
'. Repeat from 2

Infrared Temperature Sensor

1. 9nsure the basket is stopped in the correct position
2. :ill with water and float a dark fabric in chamber
3. Clean the sensor tip with a soft cloth
. Check measuring device against controller display to e!ual display 5"- 1C
. )f a correction is necessary notify client before making change.
#. Change controller settings to match measuring device
&. Repeat from 2

Air Pressure Gauge

1. )ntroduce a measuring device into the air flow circuit 6ust before the heater bo0.
2. /se the manual controls to -pin for 3# seconds - this is 6ust to ensure no water is in the
chamber.
3. /sing the manual controls select a drying pressure of 3 bar
. Check measuring device against display to e!ual 3 5"- +.1# bar
#. )f a correction is necessary notify client before making change.
&. Change air regulator settings to match measuring device $ note this is not easy to do and
must be done by a trained !ualified person instructed by Raitech %
'. Repeat from 2

Time

1. 9dit a program to give a washing time of 1+ mins and drying time of 1+ mins
2. Run selected program
3. ;erify against measuring device that the time is correct and e!uals 1+ mins 5"- # sec
. )f incorrect contact Raitech
#. 3ake sure the edited program is changed back as originally set.

Spin Speed

1. Run pre-heat program
2. /sing manual controls select 7 spin 7
3. -tart machine spinning and wait 1 minute before commencing readings.
. /sing measuring device check speed to e!ual 23++ 5"- 1++ rpm
