distribute the software.

Meaning Of Hardware
A computers hardware consists of the physical components necessary to operate and
interact with a computer. Since a computers primary language is binary, devices are
necessary to convert our input into that language. The binary code coming out of the
computer must also be translated into something usable for the operator.

Meaning of Software
Software is a general term used to describe a collection of computer programs, procedures
and documentation that perform some tasks on a computer system. Software includes

5.0 Pervasive Computing
5.1 Meaning of Pervasive Computing
The idea that technology is moving beyond the personal computer to everyday devices with
embedded technology and connectivity as computing devices become progressively smaller
and more powerful. Also called ubiquitous computing, pervasive computing devices is the
result of computer technology advancing at exponential speeds. The goal of pervasive
computing, which combines current network technologies with wireless computing, voice
recognition, Internet capability and artificial intelligence, is to create an environment where
the connectivity of devices is embedded in such a way that the connectivity is unobtrusive
and always available.

5.2 Example Of Pervasive Computing
Samsung Smart TV
Smart TV, which is also sometimes referred to as "Connected TV" or "Hybrid TV", (not to be
confused with Internet TV, Web TV, or LG Electronics's upcoming "SMART TV" branded
NetCast Entertainment Access devices), is the phrase used to describe the current trend of
integration of the internet and Web 2.0 features into modern television sets and set-top boxes,
as well as the technological convergence between computers and these television sets /set-top
boxes. These new devices most often also have a much higher focus on online interactive
media, Internet TV, over-the-top content, as well as on-demand streaming media, and less
focus on traditional broadcast media like previous generations of television sets and set-top
boxes always have had.

GPS -Garmin Asus GPS
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a space-based global navigation satellite system
(GNSS) that provides location and time information in all weather, anywhere on or near the
Earth, where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. It is
maintained by the United States government and is freely accessible by anyone with a GPS
receiver .The GPS project was developed in 1973 to overcome the limitations of previous
navigation systems, integrating ideas from several predecessors, including a number of
classified engineering design studies from the 1960s.
