Duncans Tea (DTL) on Thursday joined hands with ITC to sell its products through its agri-
initiative e-choupal. As part of the tie up, Duncans Tea would focus on selling sachets through
ITC e-choupal, while large volumes would be sold to the farmers during the harvesting season.

Tea major Duncans Industries is on the lookout for gardens in Assam. The company is also open to
the idea of acquiring estates in the tea producing nations of Kenya, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
Spread over 7,500 hectares, Duncans Industries has some 12 gardens within its fold spread across
Terai, Dooars and Darjeeling and produces about 16 million kg of CTC teas.
It owns Runglee Rungliot and Marybong, two of the premium Darjeeling tea estates.
