HOSTEL ALLOTMENT : 2014 15
ALLOTMENT PROCEDURE FOR SENIORS (II,III& IV YEARS)
The Hostel Allotment Process for the year 2014-15 will be
commencing shortly. The following guidelines/rules are placed for
your information :
(a) Dates :

Allotment Password to students : Upto 31

March 2014
Online Application by students : Upto 30

April, 2014
Finalization of Online Application List : Upto 15
th
May,2014
Allotment of Hostel Accommodation : by 15
th
June, 2014
Announcement in Website : by 30
th
July, 2014
Announcement for MSAP students : by 30
th
June, 2014

(b) Eligibility
MIT - FINAL year students only may exercise the Option of
staying outside Hostels.2

year students are advised
to stay in the campus. Special permission will be required
to be taken by the parents from Director & HOD in case
they want their ward to stay outside.
FOA - Same as above.(2

advised to stay in the campus ).
All other Institutions : As per their respective Directors
orders.

( c ) Allotment criterion
Seniority
Based on CGPA / GPA of previous semester.
Any Medical Contingency (Only KMC Certified cases)
Miscellaneous ( Special Achievers )
Any special case approved by the respective Directors.
(d) Discipline. The following students will not be allotted any
hostel accommodation in the first list. A special request from
the parents and approval of the respective Directors will be
needed in case they apply for accommodation.
a. Any disciplinary case
b. Any drug related case
c. Placed on Termination List
d. Not signing of Attendance Register/ being absent from
Hostel repeatedly
(e) Seats and location As per following list. Please note that all
Single converted Double Rooms in 13, 14, 15 & 16 Blocks (Nos. 17 to
30 on each floor) will be reconverted to Single AC or Single Non AC
from next semester onwards.
All students are requested to keep abreast with the latest
instructions on the subject which will be posted on the website and
ION homepage from time to time.
