How to reach Hotel Omni Mont-Royal
By car
From Dorval International Airport:
Take Highway 20 East toward Montreal. Merge left onto Highway 720 East (toward
downtown). Take the Guy Street Exit to St. Marc Street. Continue to Sherbrooke Street West
and turn right. The hotel is located on the right approximately 9 blocks down.

From Mirabel International Airport:
Follow Highway 15 South it will deviate onto Highway 40 West. Stay on the left side in
order to get back onto Highway 15 South. You will end up on Highway 720 East (auto route
Ville-Marie). Follow directions toward Montreal downtown (centre ville). Take exit 3 (Guy
Street), which merges directly into St. Marc Street. Drive for 3 traffic lights to Sherbrooke
Street. Turn right onto Sherbrooke and continue through 9 traffic lights to Peel Street. The
hotel is located on the right corner of Peel and Sherbrooke Streets.

Job Details:
Responsibilities will include:
*Review and audit employment practices at each unit to ensure compliance with Company
policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, and assist in correction of HR
challenges at each Hub unit.
* Provide guidance, counsel and mentoring to management and employees on a multi-unit
basis on HR and employee relations related issues, complaints or problems. Report same to
Corporate HR.
* Conduct all HR functions at home-based unit.
* Report progress towards assigned units goals on a to the Director of Human
Resources/Corporate.
* Report on HR matters affecting the Hub HR Managers primary Hub unit to the GM of the
Unit, and to the Hub VP, as needed.
* Perform all necessary HR functions for the units.
* Create and maintain effective employee planning processes (recruitment, selection,
orientation, training, assessment, discipline, retention, recognition and reward).
* Set and achieve recruitment and retention goals in concert with the Centreplate team and our
clients team.
* Manage individual development plans for effective management succession.
* Implement and organize coaching, discipline and employment practices.
* Design effective and complimentary partnership strategies together with each clients
leadership team.
* Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and laws as they apply to the human resource
functions.
* Contribute to each facility's health and safety, communication, compensation survey,
benefits comparison, education, etc. Position Requirements:
* Candidate must have at least five years of progressive human resources experience,
culminating in a current position as either Director of HR or second in command.
* Previous management experience in a high quality hotel, convention centre or arena is
preferred.
* Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
* Degree or diploma in human resources or business administration; CHRP designation will
be an asset.
* Extensive experience in a coaching or leadership development capacity.
