SOS CHILDRENS VILLAGES TANZANIA IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MONTAGE
LIMITED LAUNCH THE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN INTENDING TO RAISE
1.2 BILLION TANZANIA SHILLINGS FOR ORPHANS AND CHILDREN
WITHOUT PARENTAL CARE.

SOS Childrens Villages Tanzania in collaboration with Montage
Tanzania, are aiming to raise funds to support the well-being of children
without parental care and those at risk of losing parental care. The goal
of the fundraising effort is to raise 1.2 Billion Tanzania Shillings.
The theme of the campaign is Care for me! Your contribution can
achieve a Solution in order to reach as many children as possible who
are in need of shelter, health and educational needs.
Speaking at the Press Conference today SOS National Director Mr
Anatoli Rugaimukamu said, the fundraising activities will be held in 4
places where SOS Childrens Villages Runs its programs in Tanzania,
namely Zanzibar, Arusha, Mwanza and Dar Es Salaam. Our mission here
is to build families for children in need, help them shape their own
future and take part in the development of their communities.he

In order to fulfill our mission and provide services to the children in
need, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for
support. Even though SOS Childrens Villages has been dependent on
Sponsors from abroad, the organization believes that there is a dire
need to start building this very culture among Tanzanians where people
are touched and moved to support children in need and develop
behavior of giving back to the community!!!

About SOS Childrens Villages
SOS childrens Village Tanzania is a non-profit Tanzanian organization
working to build families for children in need and helping them to
shape their own futures and share in the development of their own
communities. The organization was established in Tanzania since 1991,
to respond to the wider range of children living without the care of the
parents. Affiliated with SOS Children Village international, SOS
childrens Villages Tanzania is an autonomous organizations with an
independent board of trustees.
Currently SOS CV is caring for over 500 children in its three villages in
Arusha, Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam and over 3000 children in the same
regions through its family strengthening program, within the youth
program SOS Childrens villages is supporting a number of youth to
realize their potentials; over 50 youth are undertaking university
studies abroad and in the country while a number of many other youth
are doing variety of courses in colleges.
Over 100 children raised and supported by SOS CV from infancy stage
are now independent productive young adults engaged in different
fields such as teaching, accountancy, ICT, Hotel, carpentry and few are
in government agencies like TRA.
