The government employees here in Malta are very up to date on EU Treaty Rights and are generally
very helpful and polite.
When getting your SSN especially for the Non-Eu eep in mind to tell them that they are the spouse of
an EU National and have your marriage certificate as !ell as spouses passport "or them !ith you #
maes it easier for the staff to no! !hat to do.

offering rooms to help people get started until they can get long term accommodation. If you use an

6iving almost any!here in Malta is good you can get around the island *y *us fairly easily. It is
recommended to stay more to!ards the !ater as going inland although rent might *e cheaper is more
the older part of the island. There is easier access to *us routes and 7o*s closer to the !ater. 'ome

We also use 8= for our internet provider. The EU spouse can get an account !ith them all they need is
their passport and a *an account "any account !ill !or U? included# If you don,t have *an account
they !ill still do it 7ust cost you more and you have to pay a deposit.
Melita they re%uire a deposit up front for any services if you don,t have an Malta I$ )ard.
