DEFINITION

Pronouns are words that are use instead of the names of people,
animals, places or things.

We use personal pronouns to replace the names of people, animals
or things.


We use personal pronouns so we do not have to use the names
many times.

Some personal pronouns are used at the beginning of a sentence.
They are called subject pronouns.

Other personal pronouns are used after prepositions and words that
show action (verbs), they are object pronouns.

The prefix in- means not. Knowing

SUBJECT AND VERB AGREEMENT

The verb in a sentence must agree with the subject.

If the subject is singular, the verb must also be singular.


If the subject is plural, the verb must be plural.

If the subject is uncountable, the verb is singular.

An adjective is used t describe a noun or a pronoun, to give more information
about the size, shape, colour or age of a person, place or thing.
It usually comes before a noun or a pronoun.
Nevertheless, it can also come after certain verbs.
