When it speaks here about doing this in relation to the dead; this was a witchcraft rite done to mourn or
remember their dead. Therefore tattooing, cutting one's body and shaving one's head in defiance have their origin in
witchcraft practices. Tattoos have their "roots" in witchcraft. Many young people today are doing these very things
because of some evil witchcraft influences in their lives that they are unaware of. They do not realize that partaking
of these can open the door to wrong and defiling influences in their lives. Evil videos, depraved rock music albums,
wicked Internet games and violent movies are displaying evil trends in order to destroy our youth. Satanic tattoos,
skin heads and other cultic rites are opening many of our children to demonization.
Todd Bentley’s My Space promotes all sorts of worldly movies, rock bands, i such as Mortification and
Demon Hunter, to name few, very satanic bands. Want to know why Christian Teens are departing from the
church…look his favorite band.

Man Proclaimed Healed at Lakeland By Todd Bentley Dies
One Week Later
May 29th, 2008

I got this email today and feel I must pass it on. This came from a posting in Revival
School. This is NOT the first time I’ve seen the ‘prophetic’ community claim healing over a
person only to see them immediately die. Of course those who spoke healing over the now
diseased person say that the sick one decided they wanted to go home, but since we can’t
interview the dead, that’s rather presumptuous to say don’t you think?

I believe in the prophetic and know the gift is in operation. I myself have been involved
in giving words, warnings and a strong call to repent. I’m alarmed at the prophetic community
and believe it has been severely tainted and needs to repent. If something is truly ordained by the
Lord it shall come to pass. If something is not ordained of the Lord, no matter how many times
you speak it, claim it or ‘BAM’ it, it will not come to pass, simple as that. Now the article…

“Pastor Larry Reed from Washington State had terminal bone cancer. He went to
Lakeland last week, and Mr. Bentley “Bammed” him. He struggled out of his wheelchair and
cheered with the crowd as Mr. Bentley proclaimed him healed. He died yesterday.

“…a dear friend of mine who passed away this morning at 5:20 AM. His name is Pastor
Larry Reed, Pastor of Olympic View Assembly of God in Silverdale, Washington. Pastor Larry
has been suffering for the past 18 months of terminal bone cancer. He was given only a year to
live, but PRAISE THE LORD out lived the doctors findings. He (Pastor Larry) told me last year
at breakfast one morning that he wanted more for Jesus and was going to do whatever it took to
accomplish that. He invited speakers from all over the country from evangelists to prophetic
speakers so that he and his congregation could catch the fire and maybe just maybe a revival
would break out in his church.

He really took a turn for the worst this year, and lost most of his weight, he looked like a
skeleton, was on oxygen and needed care all of the time. He couldn’t even preach anymore.
Pastor Larry was a man who dearly loved Jesus, and was very strong in his faith and very strong
in stature physically. So to see him him so frail was shocking to say the least.

Last week on 5/18/08 he was in the sanctuary there in Lakeland trying to find the healing
he soo much wanted, sitting in his wheel chair in front of Mr. Bentley, he was deemed as
“healed” when Pastor Larry stood up and cheered in victory. During the course of last week
when he returned, he got worse and so this morning he died.

Now I have to say with all my heart that I believe without a shadow of doubt, that this so
called “revival” is fake! I wont question my friend’s faith because his ministry was filled with
faith. But if this was truly a move of God and all these people were getting healed, then why did
my friend die?

I truly believe with all of my heart that God in His infinite mercy and love for his child
Larry Reed took him home this morning to end his suffering and that he is face to face with Jesus
right now. But what about all the others who have been duped into going along with this mess
and is finding out that they right back where they started? I tell you if I could I would knock
some people’s lights out, of course that wouldn’t be right, but thats how I feel.

I hope that all of you who stand up for this guy Bentley, will “wake up, arise from the
dead and allow Christ to shine in you”, the days are evil family, the light of day is growing
shorter and shorter, and we’re wasting our time hunting down the anointing looking for the next
wave of revivals. People are dying about a hundred thousand a minute. Instead of seeking the
anointing for yourself why not run out to your street corner and begin to preach the Gospel of
Jesus Christ and take on the heart of Spurgeon when he said that if people want to go to Hell, the
they will have to jump over his body to enter those gates!”

DEATH ROCK BAND BENTLEY’S FAVORITE GROUP

2004 saw the released of Brain Cleaner, now with ex-Cybergrind and current Martyrs Shrine drummer
Mike Forsberg. This was the heaviest release from the band in 10 years, and fast thrash dominates the
album with lots of groove and death metal influences.

In 2006, Mortification released a new album. It was ii originally titled Impaling the Goblin, but
after many complaints that in some cultures this term had a sexual connotation to it, they changed the
name to Erasing the Goblin. The album, with a cover which features a warrior throwing a sword into a
goblin sitting on a rocking chair in a cave, is said to be a take on their older death/thrash sound around
the time of their first 2-3 albums.[9]

The Bible says “Test the spirits to see if they are coming from God.” The Word never told us to follow a
person because he can tap into spiritual, supernatural gifts. Since two powers exist, and one apes God, then
supernatural power must be judged by the gift of discerning spirits and using the Word of God.

Todd Bentley and Bob Jones are busy an army of people that are leading people, taking them by their hand,
telling them to “close your eyes and I’ll take you through the portal (magical doorway) to the Third Heaven and are
bringing Christians into witchcraft practices. They are visiting Angels of Light, talking to the dead and visiting an
extremely familiar Jesus which is actually “another Jesus, another gospel by another spirit.
Jones describes his hands turn blue, and then they turn purple. And when that happens that means
you've got some incense that's gone up. You've got some intercession that's gone up that Papa's saying yes to. I have
received e-mails from California. The pastor has seen people coming from the revival and they turning red, blue and
purple.

This is report from a person has a firsthand report that People are turning green, red
and purple that are attending the revivals and a pastor that is casting them out! Here’s an e
mail…

From an E-Mail: Dr. Pat, My pastor found another woman that had some of these demons in them when
he was casting them out she turned green. I saw that and some of the other colors in some of the literature that
you sent out. How about this though? When this guy was at the false revival he saw the girl that
left our church turn purple. Now normally the color purple means royalty and what came to me
is that maybe the demon of False Christ went into her and that made her turn purple because he
considers himself to be royal, even though he is a demon. I just was wondering have you heard
of what any of the colors mean? I know everything has some type of meaning but sometimes we
have to search for it or wait for God to reveal it to us. But, I was wondering if you think I am on
the right track with the color purple since I have not heard anything about that color. My aim is
to just figure out if it is connected with a certain demon so we know what is there and who to
cast out if we see a certain color.
I got another e mail that said people were turning red and green that was attending the “revival.”
The demons Oni are red and green. In our ministry, we have seen people with a spirit of death
turn yellow.

One thing we do know, the scriptures says, (Jn. 10:10), “The thief cometh not, but for to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that they might
have it more abundantly.”

Concerned good Pastors are now reporting that people who are attending the “Todd
Bentley Lakeland Revival” are coming back ‘as mean as nails,’ and dropping out of their
churches.’ You simply cannot correct occult practises by trying to line it up with the Word of
God. Believe me, the witches and Satanist that I’ve ministered to over the years, had to be saved
by the true blood of Jesus and delivered from the powers of darkness,

PORTALS OF DEATH
Going through magical portals into the “The Third Heavens,” is a powerful witchcraft
exercise and the result is total demonic possession. Millions are going to be possessed by the
phoney occulted Bentley revival. People are returning sick and needing deliverance.
These new style ministers talk about their MYSTICAL REVELATIONS, DREAMS,
VISIONS, ANGELIC VISITATIONS, IMPARTATIONS (transferring demons) AND
TALKING TO THE DEAD.

The Bible forbids us to talk to the Dead! And for good reason because you can
certainly get in touch with a demon that called a familiar spirit or an impersonating spirit.
The Church must wake up or fall away with the sorcerers and deceivers.
Bentley’s site it was found, “Todd saw the Glory Cloud of Revelation… that is, the cloud that is
the fullness of the Holy Spirit, the seven Spirits of God. The Lord also showed Todd in the
vision, an old Punjabi sadhu (holy man) [Ed. note: mystic], by the name of Sundar Singh,
who lived in India and evangelized throughout the world over a hundred years ago. The
Holy Spirit spoke to Todd about a new release of prophetic revelation coming… Todd examines
the significance of Sundar Singh in his vision as an example of the extraordinary relationship
God wants us to have with Him. It’s a wonderful life of devotion, humility, daily discipline,
worship and contemplative prayer that calls us daily to soak in and seek God’s manifest

A Heavenly Messenger (SUNDAR SINGH A DEAD MAN PROPHESIZES) A

DEMONIC CALL AND ANOINTING, Todd and his mentor, psychic, Bob Jones, encounters
dead people as ordinary occurrences. They do not perceive that these dead people are simply
familiar demons that are impersonating these dead people. There their messages are lies and
great deception that are being ministered to the BODY OF CHRIST… Jesus calls them “strong

Many on the web blogs are reporting about these serious Biblical deficients of the
false revival and its effect on the true Church of Jesus Christ. It is truly the most dark
spirit that I have ever seen appear in the church in my lifetime.
Meanwhile, J. Lee Grady, Charisma Magazine, iv appeals to: “An Appeal for Unity
in a Divisive Season The Lakeland Revival” has created tensions over doctrine and
ministry styles. To avoid a crippling rift in the church we need strong leadership, clear
discernment and a lot of love.”

What does this man want God’s people to unify with? Demons, Necromancy,
witchcraft portals to the entrance of “the Third Heaven,” men whose lifestyles are
questionable concerning homosexuality, child molestation, womanizing, another gospel,
another Jesus preached by another Jesus? Let me suggest, sir, that you turn the publicity
spigot off the Todd fiasco and the false revival will die and maybe the true Christian people
will forget those in the Christian media who have tired foist this demonically flawed revival
upon God’s people.
What great Christian leader is willing to step forth and try to unify this “messy
revival” as Mr. Grady calls it?
Mr. Grady says, “I am appealing to the elders in our movement. In a desperate
moment we need older, seasoned veterans to release the counsel of the Lord.”
Well, since you have never heard of me, you might not consider me an “older,
season veteran” but since I’ve been in the ministry for more than 33 years, ministered
around the world, taught the Word, and have a “signs and wonders” ministry, I consider
myself an “older, season veteran”. Therefore, my advice is this: Separate yourself from
supporting a demonic revival made up of doctrines of devils and false angels who are
“angels of light.” Separate yourself from false signs and wonders that are being performed
by demons. Oh yes, devils can perform miracle, (Rev 16:14).

I was with a Christian minister yesterday and he told me that his pastor’s best
friend is Bob Jones and has been for years. I asked him if Jones had taken his pastor
through the portal door to the “Third Heaven.” He replied that he did not know. I told him
that when these neo psychical Christian ministers take people through this occult portal
entrance into “Third Heaven,” I truly believe that that the demons capture their SOULS
on the other side of the spiritual realm and then the demon returns to the physical world
and takes over the person’s body and use it for evil. Think about it, these spiritually
ignorant people's spirits are gone and never returning. . . SOMETHING ELSE
CONTROLS IT.

In the '70's New Agers, like Ruth Montgomery wrote a book called "Heralding in
the New Age." She wrote about people wanting to commit suicide or close to death, "good
spirits," she wrote, “would simply walk into the bodies after their spirit walked out.
Montgomery called them "Walk ins." She said the next president of US would be a "walk
in." Montgomery said the world was being filled with what she called "World Servers."
Personally, that's what we are dealing with, in this evil revival, Walk In’s, demons in
human bodies. The real people are gone and never coming back.
This is a religious crises while these dribbling, faint-hearted, blinded preachers who
are crying for 'unity" while the entire church is being carried into hell by demon possessed
buffoons like Bentley. You’d better seek Jesus and His Word and run from these weird,
strange leaders of hell.

PRACTICING WITCHCRAFT ~
The rest of this report is from Deliverance Manual # 1.
There is rise of social acceptance of witchcraft in America and the Christian Church. We
have entered the supernatural age of progressive interest and involvement in the occult. Satan's
ambassadors are very successful and extremely evangelistic, capturing spiritual slaves. Also
Witchcraft and Satanic worship, coupled with human ~ spiritual sacrifices is widespread and
happening now!

The Messages from the Spirits:

 Preachers no longer preach about Hell. However, Jesus tells us about the rich man and
the beggar, Lazarus, who have both died, in Luke 16. When the rich man pleads that the beggar,
Lazarus, be allowed to go back to earth to warn the rich man’s brothers about his separation from
God after death, and the terrible place he is in, the rich man is told that his brothers can listen to
Moses and the Prophets and be warned that way. When the rich man begs again that "someone
from the dead" should go to them, he is told by Jesus that if his brothers ignore Moses and the
Prophets, they will not be convinced "even if someone rises from the dead," (verses 27-31). Jesus
is not just speaking of someone coming back from the dead, but of his own resurrection from the
dead whom many refused to believe.1

Spiritualism is demonic.
The person is a medium that traffics with evil spirits who impersonates a dead person.
This is called necromancy in the Bible. John Edward’s show, "Crossing Over," was so popular
on the Sci-Fi channel, that it ‘‘crossed over’’ from cable to regular network. Edward approaches
a section of the audience and starts giving his ‘‘impressions’’ of what he is getting, whether it be
a name, numbers, or a date, until someone responds with information that matches. He also asks
the person questions as he tosses out ‘‘clues’’ he says he is receiving. Sometimes it seems that he
is throwing out very general information and that the person in the audience is filling in the
blanks for Edward. Other times, Edward seems to be uncannily accurate. Is he really receiving
messages from dead people? 2
Interestingly, it seems the dead have a hard time being very clear. For example, they may
show Edward pink roses to say that everything is alright, according to Edward, or they may show
Edward a flag to indicate their past patriotism in this life. It is sort of like a game of spiritual
charades. One wonders about this. Why can’t the dead just speak words to Edward, or write them
out on a "spirit chalkboard" so to speak? James Van Praagh, in explaining the difficulty he has in
interpreting the symbols shown to him by spirits, said that the recently deceased spirits were just
learning to communicate, and so one could not expect all messages to be clear. This raises other
questions: Why do recently dead people have trouble communicating? Where do they get these
objects that they show Edward and Van Praagh? Why can’t they just project their thoughts into
Edward’s mind? Why are their messages so prosaic and, well, boring? The picture one gets of
these creatures certainly does not present a very interesting company of people to pass the time
with. Why would these spirits have any special wisdom just because they are dead?
Though the spirits always claim to be happy and to be doing well (is Hitler also there
with them, doing okay), we do not know why they are happy and doing well? What do they do,
exactly? And if they told us, how do we know it’s true? How can we test these spirits to see if
they are lying about anything or everything they tell the mediums? The answer is that we can’t
test them based on our own experiences since we haven’t been to the other side. Only God really
knows if these spirits are telling the truth, and who these spirits are.
Note that the messages from the "dead," from the spirits, and from channeled entities
never encourage people to believe the Bible, never urge people to trust Christ for salvation, and
often openly contradict God’s word or even speak derisively of Christ as Savior. For example,
the "God" in Walsh’s books attacks very early on the credibility of the Bible, which he mentions
specifically, saying that words cannot contain truth (of course, that should apply to Walsh’s
books as well since they are nothing but words!). This "God" also attacks the idea that there is
right and wrong, and urges Walsch to abandon previous beliefs. At one point, "God" even tells
Walsch that he (Walsch) is God’s equal, and that Adam’s fall was actually his "LIFTING UP,"
and that it was not sin, but was a "first blessing,"3

TALKING TO THE DEAD IN THE BIBLE

The medium called up Samuel, who was dead, but the medium seemed surprised to see
Samuel. Although God also allowed Saul to see the impersonating devil appearing like Samuel,
it was for him to receive news of his death the next day. God used Saul’s forbidden consultation
with the medium to give him a message that condemned his action. (First Chron. 10:13,14).
follows up by telling us that one reason that Saul is allowed to die in battle is because he
consulted a medium.

“Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up
Samuel. 12 And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman
spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul,” (I Sam. 28:11).
Noting the confused description she gives, it is fully evident that she was both surprised and
alarmed at what she saw. The spirit being so widely different from what she expected to see, she
cried with a loud voice. She was horrified at the strange spirit that made its appearance take
shape of Samuel. Instantly she receives the message that the person that come to her seeking
information was, in fact, King Saul. (1 Sam. 28:12).
At this point of the experience, King Saul could not see the manifestation of the evil
spirit posing as Samuel. However, he had great fear that something frightening was happening.
The witch said to the King, “And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou?
And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth,” (ISam. 28: 13).
“And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is
covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to
the ground, and bowed himself. (I Sam. 28:14). Saul perceived that it was Samuel. From the
witches description, (HE COULD NOT SEE THE IMPERSONATING DEMON). Saul believed
that “it” was Samuel. The word perceives means, he “felt” or “sensed” “it” was Samuel.
After Saul received the spiritual information from the witch, his spiritual ears were opened to
“hear” the demon speak. “And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me
up?” (I Sam. 28:15). Then Saul no longer needed the medium acting as a spiritual pipe line
between him and the demon. He answered the demon and sought information from “it” for
himself. “And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me,
and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by
dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall
do.” It is important to see here, that Saul tells the demon that he has the problem that his enemy
is going to make war against him. Imagine this. His enemy is the same demonic force that he is
seeking an answer. Also note, he knows it. He said, “God is departed from me and has cut all
Divine communication”. So, he simply joins the other side.
There is no way that God would break His Word and allow a dead prophet to appear to
the back slider King Saul. If God tells us not to seek information from the dead, then he is not
going allow His beloved Samuel participates in this type of demonic activity. If God was silent
to King Saul, God would not have used a demonic activity to give spiritual information to the
King.
 “Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed
from thee, and is become thine enemy?” (I Sam. 28:16). There simply is no help if the Spirit of
the Lord has turned you over to the Devil.

Words are spirit. They are either coming from the Spirit of God or the spirit of a demon.
The demon speaks spiritual words of curses over King Saul. “And the LORD hath done to him,
as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy
neighbour, even to David: Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his
fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day,” (1Sam.
28: 17, 18).
The impersonating demon of Samuel pronounces a curse over the King which reveals
to him the utter destruction of his work and the also the deaths of himself and his sons.
“Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to
morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into
the hand of the Philistines,” (I Sam. 28:19).
“Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the
words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all
the night”.
The witch was smart enough to know that what was happening by Saul’s evil
communication was in violation of the spiritual laws of God. Inspired by her craft, she moved to
capture Saul’s spirit for her master.
Witches’ use rituals of making potions from food and drinks. They “bless” these drinks
and foods and offer them to their devils. These potions are for the witch to get total control over
their subjects. The witch of Endor wanted to use her familiar spirits to block King Saul from
being able to repent to God for his wicked actions of going after other gods. The next verses tell
us how she secured his soul by bringing into complete subjection to these witchcraft powers. (1
Sam. 28:20-25). “And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and
said unto him, Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my
hand, and have hearkened unto thy words which thou spakest unto me. 22 Now therefore, I
pray thee, hearken thou also unto the voice of thine handmaid, and let me set a morsel of
bread before thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength, when thou goest on thy way. 23
But he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the woman,
compelled him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon
the bed. 24 And the woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took
flour, and kneaded it, and did bake unleavened bread thereof: 25 And she brought it before Saul,
and before his servants; and they did eat. Then they rose up, and went away that night.”
Notice that she killed a fat calf, (Animal sacrifice). Another words, she sealed the evil
pact with King Saul and his men with a blood sacrifice. This fact sealed the fate of Saul and
his men and though they knew that they were going to their deaths, they went into battle
like controlled zombies and died.
It is a serious thing to go to necromancers, spiritists or mediums. (Todd Bentley and his
fellow ministers connected with him, talk to the dead). God is not going to wink at those who
seek necromancers out like John Edwards and Todd Bentley. Seeking after these familiar spirits,
will condemn them before the throne of God. They may be committing abominations to God that
may take their souls for eternity. Consulting mediums or attempting spirit contact takes us away
from seeking God for direction: "And when they say to you, ‘‘Consult the mediums and the
spiritists who whisper and mutter, should not a people consult their God? Should tney consult the
dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to
this word, it is because there is no light in them," (Isa. 8: 19, 20).
(Lev. 19:31), puts it clearly: "Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out
to be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God." God considers this spiritual adultery,” (Lev.
20:6).
There are two kinds of angels: good angels who serve God, and fallen angels (evil spirits,
demons) who serve Satan. Good angels are messengers of God; they serve God, not us. They do
not come and go at our command. If one seeks to contact an angel, only evil angels will
respond.4
(2 Cor. 11:14), tells us that Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. Demons serve
Satan, and take after him. Why can’t a demon disguise itself as a good angel, a dead person, a
wise spiritual ‘‘master,’’ or any other spirit that humans seek? 5
Conclusions
This is what God had to say about the prophets who presented their dreams as coming
from God, when they weren’t: "I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my
name. They say, ‘‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’’ How long will this continue in the hearts of
these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds? They think the dreams
they tell one another will make my people forget my name, just as their fathers forgot my name
through Baal worship. Let the prophet who has a dream tell his dream, but let the one who has
my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?" declares the Lord. ‘‘Is not my
word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer which shatters a rock?’’ (Jer. 23:25-29).
The Bible warns people not to get entangled with mediums or wizards, or witches. God
knew that doing so would endanger the souls to enter the pit of eternal hell by doing so. “There
shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the
fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter , or a witch, 11 Or a
charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer (talking to the dead).
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these
abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. 13 Thou shalt be perfect
with the LORD thy God,” (Deut 18:10-13).

DEMONS ARE REAL

At this time, many Christians hardly believe that demons are real, let alone that there are
people and Christians practicing witchcraft. “All one has to do is keep your eyes on Jesus,”
many said. Another thing, “We don’t want to lift the Devil up or give him any credit,”
others would assert strongly. Meantime, right before our eyes one of the greatest occult
explosions took place. Satan has tremendous control over his captives. He can control them
completely. The Bible says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost; In
whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light
of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them,” (II Cor.
4:3-4).
There are two sources for a person to be able to achieve supernatural power, Jesus or
Satan. Seeking power beyond the Word of God and beyond the authority of Jesus Christ finds a
person stepping into the world of the Occult. The occult is very religious. Many are seeking
hoping to find for themselves a reason for their life. They want to fill a void in their soul. Instead,
they will move into a door that very few people come back. Once ensnared by the Devil, the
person’s mind, body and spirit is totally bound by the powers of darkness. The only way out is
through the grace of God and the Blood of Jesus. 6
The Apostle Peter tells us in (2 Pet. 1:19), "We have also a more sure word of
prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark
place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.” We are living in dark days:
morally, spiritually, nationally, internationally, politically and economically. A prophecy gives
light on the pathway that is set before us. The prophetic word is the only ray of light by which
we can know the future. The coming outlook is pitch-dark but for Believers. It is bright.

SATAN AND JESUS

In the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, we see the power of Satan and the results of his
influence over people . Adam and Eve were driven from the Garden and all of its blessings by
following his influence. This alone should tell all men that he is a power to be reckoned with.
Jesus, while on earth, was confronted by the power in the physical as well as in the spiritual
sense. Often he rebuked the Devil in people who were afflicted with illness as well as those who
were violent and acted abnormally. Look at Mark Chapter 5, devils of epilepsy were cast.
The seventy came rejoicing because the devils were subject unto them. In the final
statement in Mark, Chapter 16, casting out of devils is shown as part of the preaching of the
Gospel, and I find no place in Scripture where this was ever rescinded. There are many
occurrences in life that even the medical world cannot explain. Only a knowledge as shown in
the book of Job can explain these strange occurrences. We find a full onslaught of Satan’s work
and ability. His destruction of Job’s wealth, family and total physical health reduced the man to a
fragment of his original self.
Satan is man’s enemy, as proven by the book of Job, and is a destroyer of all good things,
but, every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of Lights with whom there is no
variableness. It should be easy to identify the source of what is happening by the results that are
before us. God is a good and the giver of all good things; Satan is just the reverse of God. The
influence of each is easily discerned by the end results. 7
Author Corrie Ten-Boom says, “someone asked my opinion of the missionaries in a certain
country. My answer was, ‘They have given all, but they have not taken all. They have given
homeland, time, money, luxury, and more, but they have not taken all the riches abundant that
the Word gives us from the boundless resources of God’s promises.’ Many do not know about
two precious weapons: The power of the cross and the blood of Jesus and every legal right of use
of the wonderful name of Jesus.” 8

PSYCHIC ABILITY
The Bible give demonstrations of divination spirits that are constantly working to try to
infiltrate the church. Look at (Acts 16:16), “As we went to prayer, a certain damsel
(demonized) POSSESSED WITH A SPIRIT OF DIVINATION met us, which brought her
masters much gain by soothsaying.” This woman was delivered after the giving “a
prophetic word” to the people. “And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel
possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by
soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the
servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 18 And this did she
many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the
name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour,” . (Acts 16:16-
18). Through the power of being able to discern the divination spirit in the woman, the Apostle
Paul took authority over the evil spirit and cast it out.

In our world today, we must be astute concerning the spirit of prophecy. Many have come
into the church that had psychic abilities before asking Jesus to save them. Many of them have
never been delivered from the divination spirits from their pre-Christian life. There are very few
leaders that are alert and guarding the sheep. Many do not even know how to discern whether
someone who is using supernatural power is connecting with God or the Devil.
The Apostle Paul shows that even as false ministers appeared as true ministers, so also
Satan can masquerade himself as a true angel of God. The purpose of coming to a person in the
role of the deceiver is to trick that individual into accepting the false for the true. “And no
marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light . 15 Therefore it is no great
thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall
be according to their works,” (2 Cor. 11:14).
You must look to see if a spirit that is operating through a person is the Holy Spirit or an
unholy spirit. A believer protection is discerning the spirits to see if they be of God and studying
the whole counsel of God’s Word and rightly dividing the Word by interpreting Scripture with
Scripture.

PSYCHIC POWER
Marcia Montenego, a former New Ager, writes, “Psychic ability is developed by learning
to get into an altered state of consciousness (a light trance) and opening one's mind and self to
supernatural forces. The most common way one learns to do this is through certain forms of
meditation or visualization (normally preceded by relaxation and/or breathing exercises) or
through the use of occultic tools such as an astrology chart, a crystal ball, a numerology chart,
etc., which seem to spontaneously trigger such altered mind states. 9
In psychic development classes in which the writer once participated, students are taught to
practice various techniques of meditation, focus and visualization; sometimes this includes
contacting a 'spirit guide' from another dimension. Some go deeper into this state and become a
medium or channeler. They lose conscious awareness and allow a supernatural entity to take
over their body and speak through them (a medium thinks the spirit is a dead person; a channeler
believes it is a being from another realm, or possibly a space alien). A psychic normally
maintains awareness while receiving the information. Once these techniques are mastered, it
becomes very easy to 'slip' in and out of such a state at will. Visiting the county library, this
writer found several books on the occult that give instructions on how to use a crystal ball, read
tarot cards, etc. The instructions emphasize going into a meditative or trance-like state in order to
more effectively use these tools. Where do psychics think the information comes from? Not all
psychics agree, but generally they believe one or more of the following: They are tapping into an
energy field which contains the information.
They are accessing a type of psychic central records division called the Akashic Record
which contains all information about the past, present and future. They are receiving the
information from the client's 'higher self' which has access to information pertinent to that client.
The information is coming from the psychic's spirit guide or from God.” 10
 THE WHITE LIGHT BARRIER
Montenego goes on to warn, “When one takes steps to develop telepathy, ESP, or other
psychic abilities, one is opening the door to dangerous forces. As this writer’s psychic abilities
expanded, so did the frightening experiences. Many of this writer’s friends and associates in the
occult often had similar experiences. In fact, it is common practice for a psychic to call on
benevolent protective forces or to visualize 'white light' (supposedly for protection) before
practicing a psychic technique, doing a reading or spirit contact. What do they think they are
protecting themselves from? By doing this, the psychics acknowledge the existence of evil or
harmful beings, but how do they know these beings are not disguising themselves as benevolent
spirits or guides? What law says a white light is a barrier to evil entities? Why would such a light
keep out any spirits? Maybe the evil entities have been laughing all these years at this flimsy
'protection' as they fed false information to the psychics and pretended to be helpful. And why
shouldn’t they? What would they have to lose? God already called this one when He wrote that
Satan disguises himself as an "angel of light," (2 Cor. 11:14). 11
Montenego clearly shows that having Psychic power involves the influence of traffic in
demonic forces. She says, “Psychic power in the Bible is described as having a familiar spirit,
being a medium, being a soothsayer, or being a fortune-teller, among other terms. The
Hebrew and Greek words for these terms are different from the Hebrew and Greek words used to
describe prophecy or speaking in the power of the Holy Spirit. Divination, the art of retrieving
hidden information with occult methods or paranormal powers, is linked with psychic ability
and strongly condemned throughout the Bible.” (See Deut. 18:10-12; Lev. 19:31, 20:6; I Chron.
10:13-14; Is. 2:6; Dan. 2:27-28a).
She went on to state, “God gives us the acid test in (Deut. 18:21-22), to use for prophecy.
If the prophecy is not 100% accurate, the prophet is not from God. This writer, who once was
involved in the occult and in psychic activity, was often told by psychics that a really good
psychic on their best day might be about 85% accurate. No psychic claims 100% accuracy 100%
of the time. Another test: If someone gives accurate information or foretells an event from
dreams or visions, but then leads you away from the Biblical God, you should reject that prophet
or visionary (Deut. 13:13). There is no way around it: when psychic ability is put to the test, it
falls on its face.”12
These familiar spirits do not tell the truth. Many lives have been wrecked following after
lying spirits. The Bible says, of LYING SPIRITS, “There came forth a spirit and stood
before the Lord and said, "I will persuade him. "The Lord said to him, "Wherewith?" He
said, "I will go forth and I will be a LYING SPIRIT in the mouth of all his prophets."
Therefore, behold, the Lord has put (allowed) a LYING SPIRIT in the mouth of all these
your prophets,” (1Ki. 22:21-23). “There came out a spirit and stood before the Lord and said,
"I will entice him." The Lord said to him, "Wherewith?" He said, "I will go out and be a LYING
SPIRIT in the mouth of all his prophets." The Lord said, "You shall entice him and you shall also
prevail; go out and do even so. The Lord has put (allowed) a LYING SPIRIT in the mouth of
these your prophets,” (2Chron. 18:20-22). Truly lying spirits are real and they inspire false
prophecies.
We would do well to listen to Mrs. Montenego’s advice concerning going to Psychics. She
warns, “Consulting a psychic, in person or by phone, for 'fun' or out of curiosity, according to the
principles God gives us, should be avoided. You may discover that, in the long run, the
information seems helpful only temporarily, and you will start using the psychic to make up for
your own inability to cope and make decisions. You may also start relying on the psychic as a
counselor to listen to your problems. The prophet Daniel said it best, "No wise man, enchanter,
magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in
heaven who reveals mysteries," (Dan. 2:27), for it is God who "alone has all wisdom and power,"
who "reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he
himself is surrounded by light," (Dan. 2: 20, 22). 13
This is a word of caution. This writer can also add that you must be careful about hooking
up with certain Christian prophets and prophetess. Many call themselves prophets and
prophetesses’ but are they called by themselves or God? Words are spiritual. If a lying spirit is
operating, a lying spirit will work to bring these words to happen. If God has not spoken, then
Satan can work his plan for your life. This writer has seen many so-called Christian prophets
telling Christians strange words that God did not speak. How did I know? Their words did not
agree with God’s Word and through the discerning of spirits. You had better test the spirits to see
if they are of God.

UNCLEAN SPIRITS
“I will cause the prophets and the UNCLEAN SPIRITS to pass out of the land,”
(Zech. 13:2).
“When the UNCLEAN SPIRIT is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places,
seeking rest, and finds none. Then he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds
none. Then he says, I will return into my house from where I came out. When he is come,
he finds it empty (because the man did not ask Jesus' Holy Sprit to move in.), swept and
garnished. Then goes he, and takes with himself 7 other spirits more wicked than himself.
They enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man is worse than the first,” (Matt.
12:43-45).
“There was in their synagogue a man with an UNCLEAN SPIRIT; and he cried out,
saying, "Let US alone. What have WE to do with You, You Jesus of Nazareth? Are You
come to destroy US? I know You who You are, the Holy One of God." Jesus rebuked him,
saying, "Hold your peace (be silent), and come out of him." When the UNCLEAN SPIRIT
had torn (violently shook) him and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. They were all
amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying), "What thing is this? What
new doctrine is this, for with authority He commands even the UNCLEAN SPIRITS and
they do obey Him," (Mk. 1:23-27.)
“UNCLEAN SPIRITS, when they saw Him, fell down before Him and cried, saying,
"You are the Son of God," (Mk. 3:11).
“All the devils (demons) besought Him saying, "Send us into the swine (pigs) that we
may enter into them." Jesus gave them leave. The UNCLEAN SPIRITS went out and
entered into the swine and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea,” (Mk.
5:12-13). “They brought forth the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and couches,
that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came
also a multitude (out of the cities about Jerusalem) bringing sick folks and those tormented
by UNCLEAN SPIRITS; they were all healed,” (Acts 5:15-16.)
 UNCLEAN SPIRITS, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed
(demonized), palsied and lame,” (Acts 8:7).
“I saw 3 UNCLEAN SPIRITS, like frogs, come out of the mouth of the dragon, out of
the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are the (evil) spirits
of devils (demons), working miracles,” (Rev. 16:13-14).

The Bible warns, "The Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall
depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils." (1 Tim. 4:1).
He has captured the world now Satan is infiltrating doctrines into the Christian circles with his
tactics to destroy from within. These New Age methods idealizes witchcraft and its supernatural
orientation and the world's pagan cultures. They exalt pagan practices by depicting good verses
evil Characters. Satan’s powerful agenda seduces its fans into an imaginary world that pits
‘‘white’’ or benevolent magic against dark, evil black magic. Both sides of this imagined ‘‘battle
between good and evil’’ use cabalistic practices that God forbids and says, it is an abomination
to God.” Fantasy movies are now being targeted to the Christian Church by powerful
Evangelical leaders. The Bible says, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who
put darkness for light, and light for darkness . . . Woe to those who are wise in their own
eyes and clever in their own sight,” (Isa. 5:20-21). Parents, beware!

FALLING AWAY
The Apostle Paul warns of the spread of heresy from the Christian faith. The word
Apostasy conveys the particular idea of falling away, a withdrawal, a defection from the faith.
Paul goes on to say in the scriptures, “Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day
shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the
son of perdition,” (I Thess. 2:3). The Bible shows in (II Thess. 2) the last days that a spirit
of “strong delusion” will overtake the whole world.” Have you noticed that “another Jesus,
another Gospel,” is being preached everywhere?

People of our day have a tendency to trust their church leaders and famous personalities by
relying on them to do their Bible studies and tell them how to live. No one seems to watching the
sheep. A Good Shepherd never runs when the wolves come, but he fights for his sheep. Jesus
said, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy
Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with
His own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in
AMONG YOU, not sparing the flock.” “Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking
perverse things, to draw away disciples after them” (Acts 20:28-30).

Mystical Revolution
People today have an insatiable thirst for knowledge of the "other world." Many are
convinced that life holds mysteries beyond what our five senses reveal. They are right!
Everyone from presidents to common people, the educated to the unlearned, the spiritualist
to the entertainer, TO THE CHRISTIAN, TO THE PASTOR is affected by this intense
yearning to know how to cross the bridge between two worlds. That the "beyond" exists is
commonly accepted today. (Col 2:18) “Let no man beguile you of your reward in a
voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath
not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind . . .” KJV

Yes, you may pass this information to those that you love and don’t forget your
pastors and church leaders… Government Officials. Also, don’t forget your Christian
Television ministers, Christian Newspapers, Television networks, and radio people.
Actually, remember the lost that are in the Valley of decision. Lastly, don’t forget your
family. Or, you can just stay blinded and write and accuse me of all sorts of bad things and
say, TAKE ME OFF YOUR E MAIL LIST…Let me remain spiritually blind and die for a
lack of knowledge.
