Student Interns Goals and Objectives (including project plan)
Goal: Fully understand the ins and outs of stadium activation (contracts, LED videos, etc.)
Objective: Attend every home game and work with the other interns to select contestants for
half-time activations. Master the Scarborough application online in order to cater my ideas to
certain target publics and beat the competition.
Objective: Brainstorm ideas for future activations at games and community events (and bring
them to life in LED videos, parking lot events, half-time events, etc.).

Goal: Circulate the new internal newsletter within the office
Objective: Work with another intern to come up with stories that sum up what happened with the
team/office throughout the month.
Objective: Layout the design of the newsletter on InDesign or other program and push it to
employees via email.

Project plan: I plan to come in every day on time and see what Paige and Jess have for me. Short
term projects will be game days and activation plans. A long term project that I will work on is
the summer edition company newsletter. This is an ongoing project because the stories will be
based on the happenings throughout the summer and requires continual updates from outside and
internal news sources. I plan to do research by reading news articles posted in the Washington
Post as well as press releases from MLS and D.C. United. I will then write and layout articles.

Weather emergency plan and absenteeism policy
Call in to Paige or Jess to reschedule a workday if it has a negative impact on my credit hours.
Schedule is very flexible and I can add days if I want to/if the team needs me.

Rights of the worksite in supervising the student
The supervisor has the right to direct the students work, hours, discipline, and termination.

Process of termination
Student and supervisor should share concerns with the instructor before taking action to
