Order under S14 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The order was proposed to
facilitate the reconstruction of
the existing carriageway asso-
ciated with a new supermar-
ket development. The effect of
the order closed a section of
Woodstock Way, Caldicot.
The available alternative route
is via; travel in a South
Westerly direction along
Woodstock Way until its junc-
tion with the B4245 Caldicot
By-Pass. Travel in an Easterly
direction along the B4245
Caldicot By-Pass until its
junction with Chepstow Road.
Travel in a South Westerly
direction along Chepstow
Road until its junction with
Woodstock Way and vice
versa.
The Order came into force on
the 11th August 2014 until no
later than 24th August 2014.
By virtue of Section 16(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 a person who con-
travenes, or who uses or per-
mits the use of a vehicle in
contravention of, a restriction
or prohibition imposed under
Section 14 of the Act shall be
guilty of an offence.
