Im doing my presentation on vampires

What is a vampire?
A vampire was once a completely mortal person, but have been transformed into
a n immortal cursed being
Vampires drink blood to survive
People who are killed by vampires can be turned into vampires by the vampires
venom getting into their bloodstream
The vampire legend was around long ago but mostly in Europe, where the
community widely believed it
Some facts about vampires
They cant go out in the sunlight, otherwise the will burn and die, although in
some cultures that is not believed, and it is believed that they can indeed go in
the sunlight, but the supernatural powers they possess will not be effective
anymore
They cant cross an ocean unless they are in a coffin with soil from their
homeland
And they have no existence in refletivs things
If a bag of rice, grain or seeds or other similar substance is spilled on the ground
they must count every grain
Vampires can change form into bats normally, but also in some cases cats, rats,
and even wolves. (which are there enemy)
A sanguinarian vampire is a vampire who drinks human blood, but only from
humans that donate their blood.
A hybrid vampire is a vampire that can feed in different ways, even living off
human food
A psi vampire is a vampire that lives of the mood or living energy of its
surroundings
Dracula is probably the most famous fictional vampire story, it was a novel
written by Bram Stoker in the 19
th
century
Twilight
True blood is also a popular modern tv series about vampires
Some neurologists believe that the vampire legend was created by the rabies
disease
They have cramps or seizures which may make them bit their tongue and bleed
from the mouth, making it appear as if they have been drinking blood
Rabies can be spread by biting so it may appear as if the victim is being turned
into a vampire
Many diseases of the brain can make people sensitive to sunlight
In modern societies the vampires arent normally accepted as real
But in some European localities vampires are belived to be real and there are
sightings very often
In Edinburgh, 2002 a Scottish man attempted to convince a jury unsuccessfully
that he was a vampire, and it was the reason for him murdering his friend
Vampires have improved human abilities and may possess a special superpower
e.g. control over the elements or mind reading
