Timing: Introduction and Motivation: Teaching Approaches and

5-10 mins Brainstorm on the whiteboard with
students about racial discrimination or
(bullying).

Write down response from students.

Ask students do they know any strategies
or what they can do to deal with racial
discrimination or (bullying).

Write these responses down on the board
and advise students we will revisit these
responses at the end of the lesson.

in groups on the three scenarios.

the interactive whiteboard that groups
have come up with.

Teacher will then hand out the
Unplugging sheet.

Teacher will discuss what it means to be
unplugged from racial discrimination or
(bullying).

Teacher will discuss each section on the
sheet and how students can use this sheet
as a strategy to combat racial
discrimination or (bullying).
