NEW STORE DIRECTOR MIKE SISIA COOKING UP A FEAST FOR THE ASSOCIATES!!!!


Please welcome Jason to our Fishkill
management team. Many of you may
remember him from his first tour of duty as
the Shopper Advocate. Jason brings a
passion for grocery and youll see he goes
nowhere without his Telxon gun. He lives in
Fishkill with his long-time girlfriend
Stephanie and dog Gretta. Jason has been
with the company for 14 years and started off
as a Cart guy in our Carmel store. Just
another example of what hard work and
dedication can do for you here at Shoprite.

Changes to the
Management Structure
Titles Titles.. Before we had so many titles..
Perishable manager, Non Perishable
manager , store manager Well Shoprite has
decided to go in a new and improved
direction with our assistant store managers.
Going forward there will be no more titles..
They will all be considered assistant
managers and equal in their responsibilities.
Each manager will have certain departments
they will be in charge of overseeing.




The departments are as follows:
Jason Grocery/ Nonfoods/Floral
John Bakery/ Meat/ Seafood/ Dairy
Kevin Produce/ Deli / Frozen
Of course we will continue to work as a team
and will always be there to help any
department in need of our assistance

SHOPRITE FISKILL IN THE COMMUNITY!

Shoprite of Fishkill was the proud Food Sponsor for the
Autism Awareness Golf Tournament on July 21
st
. Pictured
right to left are Assistant Manager Kevin Tompkins, Courtesy
desk associate Alexandra Parrottino, Frontend associate
Barbara Nappi, NF manager Rick Howe, and Meat Manager
Tony Wys. The girls had the grills going cooking up hot dogs
and hamburgers for all the participants while the guys took
their best swing on the golf course. A good time was had by
all for such a great cause. Shoprite of Fishkill truly believes in
being an important part of the community we operate in. If
you are aware of any causes in the area you feel we should be
a part of please let us know!!!

How Does the Program Work???

The Mystery Shopper program is done by an outside
company that Shoprite hired which basically gives us a
snapshot of what type of experience the average customer
will have shopping in our store. They send in one of their
employees undercover on a random day and time to do their
shopping. They then complete a report card that Shoprite
designed about their experience in the store. Each question
has a point value and the score is then derived using the
percentage criteria.


This is what Shoprite is all about Our associates going the
extra mile to make sure our customers never consider going
anywhere else Thank you for what you do everyday to
make our Fishkill store a great place to shop!!
Andre Langlais Always goes out of his way to help the
customers. Andre carries all the products to the customers
car and places the items in the car for her
Toni Vargas She was in the motorized cart and Toni
saw that shed need to stand up to reach some things. Toni
offered to get the products for her
Rick Schoonmaker Rick helped the customer load her
car at the store after the transaction
Kyle Quercia Kyle is extremely polite to every
customer and feels as if he really cares. He bags beautifully
by putting light items with light items. Hes courteous and
pleasant. Customer loves checking out with Kyle.
BAKERY GOT TALENT!

If you dont already know our bakery has some seriously
gifted cake decorators in Amanda and Kay. Above is a picture
of the cake Amanda made that along with Kays cake have
been entered into a Wakefern contest where they will be
judged against entries from all across the Co-op. If the judges
are of sound mind and body than there is no reason that
Fishkill shouldnt bring home the prize!!!! Great job girls!!!!
