EQUIPMENT OFFERED:

ITEM 01 - BULK BAG UNLOADER:-

This item allows for the supply of One ( 1 ) only FRESCO SYSTEMS Bulk Bag Unloader
model FBFC-C. We understand that the product will be handled in bulk bags as detailed in the
bulk bag characteristics specification of this quotation. Therefore this item allows for the bulk
bag unloader generally as follows:

FBFC Series

The FBFC series bulk bag unloader frame incorporates a cantilevered I-beam with combination

3 of 10
electric trolley and electric chain hoist, which is used to lift and position the bulk bags within the
bulk bag unloader frame. The FBFC series bulk bag unloader is ideally suited for applications
where a forklift is either not available, or use of the forklift could hinder other operations within
the plant. As the bulk bag elongates during the emptying process, the electric chain hoist can
be utilized to raise the bulk bag to compensate for this elongation, insuring complete discharge
of the bulk bag.

Bag Closer

The bag closer bulk bag flow control device is mounted underneath the safety frame, on top of
the spout clamp. This device controls material flow from bulk bags, and allows for bulk bag
outlet reclosure during the emptying process.

Spout Clamp

The spout clamp provides a high integrity sealed connection to the clean interior of the bulk
outlet spout. This sealed connection eliminates the potential contamination from the exterior of
the bulk bag, as well as eliminates the dusting that typically occurs when the material in the bulk
bag rapidly enters the floor hopper, displacing the air in the floor hopper. The spout clamp ring
secures the bulk bag outlet spout to the lower tube via our single manually actuated hand
clamp. This continual downward tension keeps the bulk bag outlet spout taut at all times, and
also elongates the bulk bag, which increases the bag flow angle for discharging difficult, semi to
non-free flowing materials, and promoting complete discharge of the bulk bag.

Dust Collector

Since the connection to the bulk bag outlet spout is sealed, a dust collection system can be
used to collapse the empty bag. Activating the dust collection system after the bulk bag has
been emptied causes the empty bulk bag to collapse under vacuum, extracting the dust-laden
air. Once the outlet spout is tied off and released from the spout clamp ring, the bulk bag can
be removed from the unloader frame in a collapsed state, eliminating the discharge of dust into
the plant environment that occurs when operators manually flatten bulk bags.
