Project Name: Video Store by BlockVision
Project Manager: John Smith

Project Plan Document

1 Introduction
Purpose
The purpose of this project is to construct three new BlockVision Video store locations in
Singapore. By introducing our stores in Singapore, we will assess our video store branding in the
growing Asian marketplace of entertainment. Currently, BlockVision does not have franchises in
Asia and Singapore has been chosen as the testing location. Singapore is a prime location due to
its influence in Asia, its diverse demographics and economic standing. A possible success of our
franchise in Singapore will set our trajectory for the next phase of our Asian marketplace.

Project Scope
The scope of this project includes researching and identifying the consumer wants and needs in
the Singaporean market. Furthermore, the scope includes site selection, leasing of store space,
purchasing of fixtures, movies, video games, and snack food items. We will hire new staff and
provide training.

Please see section 2, Scope Statement.

Executive Summary
The objectives of BlockVision are to install a test market video store with the latest in movies,
and game rentals to a diverse demographic of Singapore. This test market will enable us to
identify the possibilities if BlockVision can and potentially may expand into other Asian
countries with the hopes of increasing financial benefits for our shareholders. We have been
given permission to complete the project of three video stores, which site locations will be
determined by our market research team. A $6.5 million dollar budget has been established and
milestones have been prepared by our project management team. The duration of this process is
to be completed no later than six months from start date, June 2
nd
2014.
