questionsandchoicesandcheckthetextagaintoseewhereyoumightfindtheanswers.
Thenworkwithboththetextandthequestionsandanswerchoicestofindthecorrect
answers.

Part8(ReadingComprehensiondoublepassages):Readeachtextseparately.Firstreadthe
headingand/orthesentencethatintroducesthetext.Thenreadthetextquicklytosee
whatitisabout,whoithasbeenwrittenfor,andwhyithasbeenwritten.Trytounderstand
whattext1isaboutandthenfindtheconnectionbetweenthetwotexts.Thenreadthe
questionsandchoicesandworkwithbothtextstofindthecorrectanswers.

Remember:

a. Usetheprocessofeliminationwhenyouarenotsureaboutananswer.Tryto
narrowdownthechoicestotwo,ifpossible,andthenmakeaquickguess.
b. Guessingisallowed.
c. Markananswerforalltheitems.Unmarkeditemsarecountedwrong.
d. Markallyouranswersontheseparateanswersheet.Donotmarkyouranswersin
thetestbooklet.

g. DonotspendtoomuchtimeonPart5(grammarandvocabulary,40items).Theless
timeyouspendonthispart,themoretimeyouwillhaveforthereadings.
