1. Login to the machine that has crashed and has had crash dumps forced.
2. Sudo to root
5. ls lrt /var/adm/crash (press return) and check that there are crash files there
(vmunix.<number>, crash-data.<number>, vmcore.<number>, audit-
data.<number>). !heck that the date on them matches up "ith the date of the crash.
6. #un the script b$ t$ping% /gio/scripts/chutney_transfer.ksh (press return)
Possible problems
!hutne$ is a server not managed b$ the unix team. &t has limited space and if it fills up the
script "ill give an error message. 'e normall$ "ould then clear do"n the re(uisite amount of
files oldest first. &f $ou are not confident to do this please put the ticket in the unix (ueue and
