Women Entrepreneurs

In this competitive world, every one seeks to come first then why women cant come, when we
hardly could see any women in the core management of organizations. In the corporate world
women have shown true determination to break the upper limit.A women Entrepreneur desires to
do something positive which is their inbuild quality as well as accepts challenging role to meet
her personal needs and become economically independent. They are capable of contributing
values in both family and social life. They are also aware of their own traits, rights and also the
work situations.
The digital era is providing challenges and opportunities to the women which are rapidly
growing and the jobs seekers are turning into job creaters . They are floursching as designers ,
interiors, decorators, exporters, experts, publishers , garments manufacturers and still exploring
new avenues of economic participation.
Our Indian women entrepreneurs can do better than men if their skill, knowledge and
adoptability in business are recognized and given importance in the business world.
Example like some women who have taken on the entire world-IndraNooyi- CEO,(Pepsico),
NainaLalKidwai- MD(HSBC) India, LalitaGupte-COO, ICICI, Pragya Raman- group executive
president of Aditya Birla Group- to name a few.
But the Indian women entrepreneurs are facing some major problems like:

1. Confidence Level : In general , they lack confidence in their strength and competence as their
family members and the society are reluctant to stand beside their entrepreneurial growth.
2. Social Barriers: The family and personal obligations are the great barriers for succeeding in
business career and they are unable to devote enough time to perform all their responsibilities in
priority.
3. Market Survey & its risks: Market survey is more difficult for their lack of mobility and to
make their product difficult to be sold in the market. They have to depend on middleman ie they
are not fully aware of the changing conditions.

4. Motivational factors: Self motivation can be realized through a mind set for a successful
business. Other factors which motivate, are family support , government policies, financial
assistance from public and private institutions should create a suitable environment for women to
establish business units.
5. Need based training Progress : Training programs and workshops for every entrepreneur is to
be made available for the skill and knowledge required for business.
Women entrepreneurs have their right attitude of innovation, orientation of their actions in the
desired directions and high motivational thinking to wards the people working with them. They
have their economic participation as entrepreneurs, employers and leaders which are recognized
as a measure of the nationss dynamism.
