Among the Hidden is a stor about a totalitarian go%ernment! &amilies are onl
allo'ed to ha%e t'o children! An more than t'o children 'ould be (ut to death!
)he *o(ulation *olice loo# for these t(es of families! )his is all due to
o%ercro'ding+ hunger+ and homeless (eo(le! Some families are %er 'ealth and
get a'a 'ith things more easil! ,ther families are %er (oor and do not get
a'a 'ith anthing! &ood is rationed and -un# food is banned! &armers are told
'hat the can and can not (roduce and ho' much! Life is hard enough+ for some!

The Task
0ou are going to li%e life+ for a'hile+ as a 1shado' child2! 0ou 'ill each be assigned

You will be given an identity not to be shared with your classmates. Some

7tudents should learn ho totalitarian societies are different from their on. Proper grammar< spelling<
and creativity is important to this We#3uest. 7tudents should kno ho to use proper grammar<
