This program will provide information necessary to help nurses interpret the EKG. The
course will provide a brief review od the electrocardiography, components of waveform and
systemic approach to analyzing an EKG.
This is an eight-hour course that will provide the participants with following core concepts
and skills:
The program will offer the opportunity to practice and “master” these skills during
practicum facilitating and adult learning experience that is fun, interactive, and relevant to
any workshop setting.
ABCD of Resuscitation
This course is designed for nurses who participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether
in or out of hospital. Through this course, the nurses will enhance their skills in assisting
during the treatment of the adult victim of cardiac arrest of other cardiopulmonary
emergencies. This course on the ACLS: The ABCD of Resuscitation will emphasize the
importance of basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support integrations; and
the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
This ACLS course is American Hear Association (AHA) - aligned program and will apply
simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through various
learning stations. This methodology will provide the participants with more practice sessions
in building skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader.
Nursing procedures are constantly changing this is due to never ending discoveries in best-
practice health care methods. As nurses we want to ensure that our knowledge and skills in
nursing procedures are always updated. We can read a lot of them and have the knowledge
but it is different if we have the developed a certain level of skill acquisition, particularly in
this time of new technology. For this reason CCNAPI is offering a course focusing on
common nursing procedures.
This two-day course will provide nurses with the latest information about stroke, its
diagnosis, treatment and management including stroke rehabilitation. It will strengthen the
clinical practice of the nurses through the application of the principles and concepts learned
from the course.
The Basic Critical Care Nursing Course is a five day program intended to provide the new
nurses with an overview of critical care nursing practice. It will present the physiological
concepts that will be the basis of understanding the diseases and nursing assessment. The
course will offer an opportunity for nurses to develop critical thinking by integrating
knowledge about the disease, assessment, intervention and management.
The course will have a four-day didactic and one-day workshop period to enable the
participants to develop basic skills necessary in a simulated environment.
