Pure or Traditional Storytelling- telling a story without
using any props. It uses only voice and gestures to share a
story.
Creative Storytelling- sharing and discovering new ways to
tell a story
clothes pin story, puppet stories, prop stories, story collage,
tell-and-draw stories
Just telling story after story is not enough.
Much of the experience of listening is poured
upon story with no chance for reflection. Thus,
response activities are important.
puppet shows, retelling, arts and crafts,
dramatization, reconstruction through pictures
