Vacancy: Investment Analyst to KIRKBI in Billund

organisation is flat with a short span from analysis, decision-making to execution. The position is an opportunity
to develop your personal and professional skills and work with many different aspects of corporate
finance/M&A, when targeting significant direct minority investments in unlisted and publicly quoted companies.
You will work closely with other key members of the KIRKBI investment team and refer to the Senior Vice
President for Long Term Equity investments.

Since 2011, KIRKBI A/S has among others invested in Falck A/S, Borkum Riffgrund 1, ISS A/S, Matas A/S and
HusCompagniet as well as a number of Danish and international companies. When analysing investment
opportunities, you will be working project oriented as a key member of our internal project team as well as with
various external advisors, e.g. consultants, lawyers, accountants and investment banks.

Key tasks:
Industry, market and company research
Financial and strategic analysis incl. valuation modelling (DCF, LBO, Long Term Equities and comparable
multiples) and presentation of potential investments
Post-acquisition work / monitoring and follow-up analysis of existing and future Long Term Equity
investments
Candidate profile:
You are currently finalising your M.Sc. in finance, accounting, economics or similar from University or
Business School (Cand.Merc. or Cand.Oecon.) expected graduation Summer 2014
You have an outstanding academic track record and are ranked at the top end of your class
Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken)
Accustomed to Microsoft Office, especially Excel
1- 3 years experience from relevant part-time student position (not a pre-requisite). E.g. corporate finance,
business development, asset management, markets department in a financial institution or similar
Candidate characteristics:
Strong problem solving mind-set and analytical skills with an ability to pin-point and prioritise key issues
Genuine interest in corporate finance/M&A, investing and post-acquisition work with a view for long-term
value creation
Accustomed to perform when things get hectic and yet maintain a humble and unassuming attitude
Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently
Ambitious can do attitude and strong communication skills
