There are three basic categories of AcuNav I systems. Those utilizing a PC-LCC laser control, those with an MPLC laser control, and those without a laser control card. The upgrade choices for each type are: 1. For a system with a PC-LCC: A new computer and control box containing a USB motion control card and MPLC are provided. 2. For a system with an MPLC or no laser control card: A new computer containing a PCI motion control card or a new computer and control box containing a USB motion control card are provided. In most cases these upgrades can be pre-configured at Preco and self installed by the customer. Installation by a Preco service technician is also available.
