OUR SUCCESS STORY
Year: 2005-06
Kevin incorporated in the year 2005 with the team of 5 young technocrats entrepreneur. Initial investment
by all five altogether was just Rs 20 Lacs. The investment was small but goal and vision was very clear to be big.
First year strategy was very clear amongst them to strengthen the R&D of the company. Kevin was clear into
their vision to make their R&D of world class in the power backup sector.
After their world class R&D setup, Kevin focused on providing the technical consultancy to the leading brands
of the industry to support the financials of the company.
Year: 2007-08
In 2007 with the confidence of the Investors, Kevin set up their first manufacturing base in Hardwar name
Litman Power Solution. The plants manufacturing capacity was 30K inverters per month.
With this plant Kevin decided to focus in the OEM business in the industry. Supply the inverters to different
leading consumer durable brands of the country. These brands were looking quality power backup products to
add in their product line. And Kevin was the best choice for them because of their in house designed quality
inverters of various capacities.
Year: 2008-09
In 2008 to differentiate itself from the competition, Kevin entered into the niche market of high capacity
inverters & UPS of the industry. And in short span became one of the leading players in the segment. Kevin
started supplying the inverters up to 100 KVA and to cater the demand setup the second manufacturing plant
in Roorkee.
In 2009 Kevin introduced a very unique 4th generation revolutionary inverter in the market. This pure sine
wave inverter was based on the IGBT technology and designed with high frequency. Its weight was 1/3rd of
the conventional inverter in the market and efficiency was 1520% higher up to 90% in compare to
conventional competitors inverter.
Year: 2009-10
In 2009 Kevin also step into the international business and started supplying inverters in the African and
middle-east countries.
After entering into exports and within a year Kevin achieved the second position in exporter list of inverters in
the country. And to supply properly to this export business Kevin has started its third manufacturing plant.
With this plant Kevin entered into the league of 1.25 Lac inverters/ month manufacturing capacity.
Year: 2010-11
In 2011 Kevin entered into the manufacturing of Batteries after getting repeated request and high demand of
inverter batteries from our strong 2000 retail presence in domestic business.
Year: 2012
This year (2012) we are focusing our domestic business keeping brand focus of Kevin. Now we are targeting
aggressively into the domestic market in sine wave inverters and tubular inverter batteries. Keeping brand
focus we are introducing Cine Star Govinda as our brand ambassador..
