Purpose of this assignment

This assignment will provide you with an understanding of the links between strategic management,
leadership and organisational direction and the skills to apply this understanding to a selected
organisation.
This assignment must be answered in relation to the organisation you currently work in or an
organisation that you have knowledge of.
Scenario

You are a Strategic manager who has been commissioned by an organisation to produce a report that
investigates Professional Development needs to support the organisations business strategy and
Sound decisions . The organisation has recently identified extensive changes in the behaviour of
Human resources and business dynamics in the various heads of organisation. There is a need to plan
for managing this situation and make organisation as well as employees more effective and efficient.
The C.E.O. and BODs team want you to assess its current and future requirements and produce a
realistic strategy and development plan for achieving future strategic goals of the organisation.
The strategy will be based on your review of the skill audit and SWOT analysis to evaluate organisation
and getting an edge over their competitors and Strategies must be supported by your findings from
research of relevant theories and models for the personal and professional development of an
organisation
