PSALM 23
The earth and its fullness are the Lord’s; the world and all that
dwell in it. He has founded it upon the seas, and prepared it upon
the rivers.
Who shall go up to the mountain of the Lord, and who shall
stand in His holy place? He that is pure in his hands, and clean in
his heart; who has not lifted up his soul in vanity, nor sworn
deceitfully to his neighbor. He shall receive a blessing from the
Lord, and mercy from God his Savior.

‫ فيدخل‬،‫هرية‬E‫تها الب*واب الد‬E‫ وارتفعى أي‬،‫ار*فعوا أيها الرؤساء أب*وابكم‬

‫ من* هو‬.‫ فيدخل ملك‬،‫هرية‬E‫تها البواب الد‬E‫ وارتفعى أي‬،‫ارفعوا أيها الرؤساء أب*وابكم‬

This is the generation of those who seek the Lord, who seek the
face of the God of Jacob.
Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, you everlasting
doors, and the king of glory shall come in. Who is this king of
glory? The Lord who is strong and l mighty, the Lord who is
mighty in war. Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up,

is this king of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is this king of glory.

PSALM 29
I will exalt You, 0 Lord, for You have accepted me, and not
caused my enemies to rejoice over me. 0 Lord, my God, I cried
to You, and You have healed me. O Lord, You have brought up
my soul from Hades, You have delivered me from those who will
go down to the pit.
Sing to the Lord, all you His saints, and confess the
remembrance of His holiness. For anger is in His wrath, but life ‫ لن أبى‬،‫ لو كنتم تحبوننى لكنتم تفرحون لنى أمضى إلى الب‬.‫أمضى ثم آتى إليكم‬
in His favor, weeping shall be for the evening but joy shall be in
the morning.
I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.” 0 Lord, in Your
will You gave strength to my beauty; but You turned away Your
face from me, and I became troubled. To You, O Lord, I shall
cry; and to my God I shall make supplication What profit is there
in my blood, when I go down to destruction? Shall the dust
confess to You? Or shall it declare Your truth?
The Lord heard, and had mercy upon me; the Lord became to me
a helper. You have turned my mourning into joy for me; You
have rent off my sackcloth, and glided me with gladness, that my
glory1 may sing praise to You, and I shall not be troubled at heart

to your remembrance all things that I have said unto you. My

come again unto you.” If you loved Me, you would rejoice,
because I said, “I go unto the Father,” for My Father is greater
than I. And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that,
when it comes to pass, you might believe. I will not talk much
with you; for the prince of this world comes, and has nothing in
Me. But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as
the Father gave Me commandment, so I do, arise, let us go from
here.
I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine-dresser. Every
branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every
branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bring forth more
fruit. Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken
unto you. Abide in Me, and I in you.

and life-giving spirit, a spirit of prophecy and chastity, a spirit of
holiness, righteousness and authority, 0 the Almighty One, for
You are the light of our souls. 0 You Who gives light to every
man that comes into the world, have mercy on us.

3.0 Mother of God (Theotokos), you are the true vine who bore
the Cluster of Life, we ask you, 0 full of grace, with the apostles,

PSALM 92
The Lord has reigned; He has clothed Himself with beauty. The
Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength, for He has
established the world, which shall not be moved. Your throne is
prepared from the beginning; You are from everlasting. The
rivers have lifte4jip, 0 Lord, the rivers have lifted up their
voices; (the rivers shall lift up their voices, from the voices of
many waters. The billows of the waves of the sea are wonderful;
the Lord is wonderful in the highest. His testimonies are very
sure; holiness is worthy of Your house, 0 Lord, unto length of

GOSPEL Of ST. MATTHEW
(CH. 5:1-16)
And seeing the multitudes, He went up on the mountain, am
when He was seated, His disciples came to Him. And He opened
His mouth, am taught them, saying:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of
heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be

God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’
sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are you, when they revile you, and persecute you, and
say all kinds of evil againstyou falsely for My sake. Rejoice and
be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, forso
they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
“You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its flavor, how
shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown
out and trampled underfoot by men
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot
be hidden, nor do they light a lamp am put it underabasket, but
on a lampstand, and itgives lightto allwho are inUre house.
“Let your light so shin’before men, that they may see your good
works, and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.”

‫‪Confirm us O Lord in the faith,‬‬ ‫‪،‬ثبتنا يا رب على اليمان‬

‫‪Grant us Your heavenly blessing,‬‬ ‫‪،‬وأعطنا بركة من فيك‬
‫‪Have mercy upon Your people O Savior,‬‬ ‫‪،‬وإرحم شعبك يا ديان‬
‫‪O Lord have mercy on Your creation.‬‬ ‫‪.‬يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬

‫‪All of Your works are wondrous,‬‬ ‫‪،‬جميع أعمالك عظيمة‬

‫‪Mercy and compassion are for who call You,‬‬ ‫‪،‬الرحمة والرأفة لمن يناديك‬
‫‪Do not behold our earthly sins,‬‬ ‫‪،‬أترك خطايانا الجسيمة‬
‫‪O Lord have mercy on Your creation.‬‬ ‫‪.‬يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬

‫‪You turned the water into wine,‬‬ ‫‪،‬حولت الماء إلى خمر‬
‫‪And for the blind, eyes You did fashion,‬‬ ‫‪،‬وصنعت للعمى أعين بيديك‬
‫‪For nothing is impossible for You,‬‬ ‫‪،‬ولم يعسر عليك أمر‬
‫‪O Lord have mercy on Your creation.‬‬ ‫‪.‬يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬
Save us, we are the sinners, ‫خلصنا نحن الخطاه‬،
And accept those who, to You, return, ‫وأقبل من يرجع إليك‬،
And do not count us with disobedient, ‫ول تحسبنا من العصاه‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

Heal us from all our infirmities, ‫داوينا من كل السقام‬،

And every despicable action, ‫وجميع ما أخطأنا به إليك‬،
Forgive our sins and iniquities, ‫وأغفر ذنوبنا والثام‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

You redeemed the lost and the sinners, ‫رديت الخاطئ مع الضال‬،
And offered them a warm reception, ‫وفتحت لهم ذراعيك‬،
Because You are gentle and patient, ‫لنك رؤوف وطويل البال‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

You adorned the heaven with stars, ‫زينت السماء بالنجوم‬،

The sun and moon under Your feet, ‫والشمس والقمر تحت قدميك‬،
Take away from us all tribulations, ‫إرفع عنا كل الهموم‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

Please forgive all our sins, ‫سامحنا بجميع خطايانا‬،

You said, "Come to Me I am your salvation," ‫أنت قلت أطلبني وأنا فاديك‬،
So in our hardships be our Refuge, ‫وفي الشدة كن ملجأنا‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

We are Your people and Your sheep, ‫شعبك وغنم رعيتك‬،

Who call upon You night and day, ‫ يطلبون إليك‬X‫ ونهارا‬X‫ليل‬،
To judge us according to Your mercy, ‫أن تعاملنا حسب رحمتك‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

We ask You all nights and days, ‫نصرخ إليك بطول النهار‬،
To lead us to do Your will, ‫أن تهدينا لعمل يرضيك‬،
Bless our crops and our lands, ‫بارك في غلتنا والثمار‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

The weak of Your people, strengthen them, ‫ضعفاء شعبك قويهم‬،

Confirm their faith in You, ‫وإجعل إيمانهم يثبت فيك‬،
And comfort those who mourn, ‫والحزانى يا رب عزيهم‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

Purify us from every evil thought, ‫طهرنا من كل الثام‬،

For we have always hoped in You, ‫لننا توكلنا عليك‬،
And help us throughout all the days, ‫وأعنا على مر اليام‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

Your crucifixion upon the cross, ‫ظهورك على الصليب مرتفعا‬،

Renewed the faith of Your living ones, ‫جددت اليمان لمحييك‬،
And trampled down the sting of death, ‫وكسرت شوكة الموت منتصرا‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

Sustain Your servants who are captive, ‫عول عبيدك المسببين‬،

Who call unto You at all times, ‫الذين يصرخون إليك‬،
Night and day, proclaiming and saying, ‫ قائلين‬X‫ ونهارا‬X‫ليل‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.
We are sojourners in this world, ‫غرباء نحن في هذه الديار‬،
Grant us to do Your will, ‫فإمنحنا أن نعمل ما يرضيك‬،
That we maybe praise You night and day, ‫ ونهار‬X‫لنسبحك ليل‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

Your light shines on all mankind, ‫فاق نورك على البشرية‬،

And shone with it upon Your followers, ‫وأشرقت به على تابعيك‬،
Our hard hearts begin to tremble, ‫فإرتعدت القلوب الحجرية‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

The teachings of the Apostles and Prophets, ‫كلم الرسل والنبياء‬،

Gave us inspiration to follow You, ‫جذب المتعبين وقربهم إليك‬،
Make all follow You with pure hearts, ‫إجعل الجميع لك أصفياء‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

You have power to raise the dead, ‫لك القدرة أقمت الموات‬،
And to heal all kinds of afflictions, ‫وشفيت المرضى ومن يناديك‬،
Erase of us all of our iniquities, ‫أمح لنا كل الزلت‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

You can erase all our sins, ‫محوت لنا كل خطايانا‬،

And give us wisdom and compassion, ‫وأعطيت الحكمة لطالبيك‬،
Repose the souls of our dead, ‫نسألك تنيح موتانا‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

We ask You O Lord of lords, ‫نطلب منك يا رب الرباب‬،

To answer any one who supplicates, ‫أن تستجيب لمن يترجاك‬،
Open to us all of Your doors, ‫وتفتح لنا كل البواب‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

We ask You O Lord for support, ‫ونسألك يا إلهنا المعونة‬،

And mercy to those who call upon You, ‫والرحمة لكل ملتجئ إليك‬،
Through the intercession of the kind Virgin, ‫بشفاعة العذراء الحنونة‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

Lord do not remember my ignorance, ‫ل تذكر يا رب أيام جهلي‬،

And keep me into Your sight, ‫ول تحجب عني عينيك‬،
I have sinned against You always, ‫والخطية كانت هي فعلي‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.

O Lord the merciful and the honored, ‫يا رب يا كريم يا منان‬،

Who is present in every place, ‫يا حاضر في كل مكان‬،
grant us delight and goodness, ‫تعطف علينا بالحسان‬،
O Lord have mercy on Your creation. ‫يا رب إرحم صنعة يديك‬.
