STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO SELECT A COMPANY ;
IDENTIFY STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT ISSUES THERE;
TO WHICH SOLUTIONS WILL BE SUGGESTED.
(The project will be submitted as a report followed by a presentation)
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
A) The project is to be taken up by a team of max. 3 members.
B) The students are advised to use individual thinking and unique
expression in the projects. Effort must be made to include
pictures, tables, examples as applicable to supplement their
project. Reference books, journals, business magazines,
internet can be used for the same.

C) How to attempt the assignment..
The report must have following sequence of chapters
Cover page ( sample attached at the end)
Ch 1 Introduction of the company
Ch 2. An environmental analysis conducted
Ch3. a)Strategies used identified ;
b)issues and problems discussed ;
c)role of CEO and top management in solving strategic
problems
CH4.Solutions suggested your perspective
Ch 5. Conclusion;
in the end- References
The report (typed only) needs to be completed within 9-10
pages. The font to be used- verdana, size-12, with default
spacing and margins.
3-4 Powerpoint slides highlighting the main points of CHAPTER
2 ,3 AND 4 OF project work must be submitted along with the
assignments.
Please note that each candidate must be present on the day of
project presentation
The presentation will be scheduled ON 18
TH
AND 19
TH
OF JULY
2014.
D) Copying of assignments is strictly not advised. On the
contrary an attempt to incorporate classroom discussions in
the report and supplementing answers with individual
efforts would be appreciated and awarded with good
grades.
