We are proud and honored to invite you to the
first international conference on The Jewish
Community Confronts Violence and Abuse. The
three-day conference, to be hosted by the Crisis
Center for Religious Women, will take place on
December 1-3, 2014 , at the
Ramada Hotel in Jerusalem.
The conference will offer a social, halachic and
educational focus on this epidemic problem facing
Jewish communities worldwide.
The Crisis Center for Religious Women aims to
present a comprehensive, varied, thought-
provoking and informative program appropriate
for a wide range of professional disciplines, as
well as community leaders and concerned parents.
We have made every effort to invite world
renowned experts in the field to be keynote
speakers.
Abstracts of no more than 250 words in English
or Hebrew are invited for short oral presentations
and posters. Abstracts should be submitted before
August 1, 2014.

Venue: The conference will take place at the
Ramada Hotel in Jerusalem.
Date: December 1-3, 2014
Language: The conference will be conducted in
English and Hebrew
Welcoming Reception: A welcoming reception
will be held Sunday evening, November 30th at
19:00.
Gala Banquet: A festive evening will be held on
Monday, December 1st at 20:00. The evening will
include entertainment and dinner and will be
charged separately.
Night Tour: On Tuesday evening, December 2nd,
there will be a night tour of Jerusalem.
Exhibition: A commercial exhibition will take
place within the framework of the conference.

Advertising and Sponsorship: Please contact
the Secretariat for space in the conference program
and/or sponsorship of speakers, sessions and
events.
Certificate of Participation: Will be supplied to
participants upon request.
Letters of Invitation: Upon request, the
Secretariat will send a personal invitation to
participate in the conference. It should be
understood that such an invitation is only meant
to help visitors raise funds or obtain a visa and
does not represent commitment on the part of
the organizers to provide financial support.
Registration Fee: The registration fee of $450
for participants includes participation in all sessions,
conference kit, program, proceedings, lunch and
coffee breaks, welcoming reception, and night
tour of Jerusalem. Fees are valid until October 1,
2014, after which there will be a surcharge of $50.
Registration fees for Israeli participants and
presenters at the conference to be announced.
Accompanying Persons fee of $100 includes
the welcoming reception, opening ceremony, and
night tour of Jerusalem. The fee does not include
attendance in program sessions.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be
received in writing via fax, email or post.
Registration cancellations received:
before November 1, 2014 - full refund less
$60 processing charges
between November 2 and November 21 -
50% refund
after November 21, 2014 - no refund
Refunds will be processed within two months
after the conference.
