Letter Exchange (Production Stage)
1. Divide students into 2 groups. The first group will take a role as Alex
while the other group will take a role as Siobhan.
2. Each group member have to write a letter to the opposite group
members. The letter from Alex group is about his confession of love
towards Siobhan whereas Siobhans letter to Alex is about her rejection.
The letter should begin with Dear Siobhan and vice versa. The letter
should include:
a. The description of emotion by using adjectives
b. Traits of the character by using adjectives.
c. 4 simple sentences
d. 6 complex sentences
e. A four lines poem using at least one (1) adjective in each line.

3. After 20 minutes, they have to exchange and reply the letter to the
opposite group members.
4. It is an individual task.

Its Me!! (Production Stage)
1. In pairs, students are given a character which is Alex or Siobhan
2. Using a Manila card, they have to cut a hole and draw the
characters body and face around the hole.

3. Then, they have to describe the character's trait around the hole by
using Subject Verb Agreement and support it with evidence from the
text
4. A student has to put his/her face in the hole and another student
presents the character trait.

Using this extract, students are asked to continue this story in a short
paragraph. They are given 20 minutes to finish the task and exchange their
story with their friends. Teacher will randomly pick the students to present their
essay.
Warn Me!! (Production Stage)
Imagine that you are Siobhans friend. Write 10 precautions that Siobhan
could do. The precaution can be taken directly from the text or students may
create new precautions that Siobhan need to follow. The first one has been
done for the students. Students can take only 5 precautions directly from the
text. The other 5 precautions must be created by the students themselves.
