Step by step of Data Migration in
IS-T

To access the ISMW, we have
to type “EMIGALL” for the
transaction code.
This is the screen when we can maintain (display, create or edit) a company
Shortcut: From the main menu click ‘IS-U Migration’ – ‘Company Maintenance’
The settings on a new company.

a migration object from

Shortcut: Double click on the migration object which want to be copied –


right click on it – select ‘Copy’

In this step we customize the Migration Object, the Automatic Structure of


an object, and the Fields
The next step after the customizing is generating the migration objects
using the generate button.

Once generated the migration object mark turn to a green square.


Pay attention to the initial
blocking status is ‘100’.
The blocking status must be
‘000’ if we want to edit the
migration object.

The next step is to migrate
the data.
1. Select the migration
object that want to be
migrated by double-
clicking it.
2. Click on the ‘Data
Migration’ button.
3. Create a text file for
example ‘PART_G.TXT’.
4. Create an error file for
example ‘PART_G_E.ERR’
The next step is to edit the data object by selecting the ‘Data Object’ button.
First we must specify the ‘Legacy System Key’.
Next choose the ‘Data type record’ which we want to input.

For trial we added some new data manually from the downloaded data to be
uploaded later.
