PROBLEM SOLUTION
The lights on the SmoothSkin
control panel are not lit up
Make sure the power supply is
plugged in.
Ensure that the power cord to the
SmoothSkin base unit is plugged in
correctly.
SmoothSkin doesnt work on small
areas
For safety reasons, both contact
bars on the Treatment Window must
make positive contact with the skin.
If the area of the skin to be treated
is too small for this, SmoothSkin will
not emit a pulse of light.
Try and reposition the handset to
ensure both bars make contact with
gel on the treatment area.
The SmoothSkin base unit or
handset is broken, cracked or
appears defective.
DO NOT USE if the base unit,
handset, connecting cable or the
power supply is damaged. If you
are in any doubt about the safety
of SmoothSkin or suspect it is
damaged in any way, it must not be
used.
The red light on the Skin Tone
Sensor has come on or is ashing
and SmoothSkin wont respond.
SmoothSkin has gone into
STANDBY or SLEEP mode. To
reactivate, take another valid skin
tone reading as described on pages
14-16 of this user guide.
The lights on the SmoothSkin
control panel are on or are ashing
in an unfamiliar pattern.
SmoothSkin will display any error
messages through combinations
of lights on the control panel. The
table on the next page explains what
these light combinations mean.
