It Had to Be You
Did you know that youre the only one of you? Only one of you in a sea of seven billion people
on this planet? Before you even saw your frst light of day, your genetic material beat out all the
others competing to be you: right here, right now at this precise moment in history.
How extraordinary is that? What does this tell us about what it means to be unique in this
world?
Te sheer fact that you exist uniquely from any other human being on this planet sets your
purpose apart from all others. Sure, you might share the same interests, beliefs or traits with
some of your seven billion neighbors. But its what you do with those interests, beliefs or traits -
how you act, how you communicate, how you live your life that sets your purpose apart from
all others. Quite simply, all that you dream and plan and wish and hope to accomplish in your
lifetime, theres only one person who can actually make that happen: you.
It had to be you.
So ofen we close doors of opportunities for ourselves, walk away from the things we think are
unreachable. We tell ourselves that we dont matter, that we dont have the fortitude to make a
diference in the communities in which we live or the lives we lead, that our voice could hardly
ever stand out from the crowd. Afer all were just swimming in this sea of seven billion, right?
Wrong.
Claim your right to be who you are and what you seek to achieve in your life by the
uniqueness of who you are and your lifes purpose.
Tis is your right from the moment you came into this world.
Your journey of self-empowerment starts with the mental conditioning you need to set you
confdently on your life path. You dont just wake up one morning and run a marathon. First,
you make the choice to run. Ten you train both your body and your mind. Tese two halves
