Proverbs 29
Pr He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that

Those who can not be refined represent Reprobate silver:
Jeremiah They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and
6:28 iron; they are all corrupters.
Jeremiah The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder
6:29 melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away.

In the first nine chapters of the book of Proverbs, there are three
characters that are often reproved:
Proverbs How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight
1:22 in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Proverbs Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will
1:23 make known my words unto you.
After the scorner was destroyed without remedy, the call for repentance
went out to the fool and the simple:

ungodly lusts and be suddenly destroyed:
